It's impossible to solo the atm if you don't have the boss wep. 

It's a shame I do like the game but it's getting impossible to play for a normal player and I don't have it over loot it's the wave I can hold of the boss and the wave of siren 1 time but not 2 or 3 time if you get a sire Whit your resistance your done for you can have a oger Whit 30 mil hp and you do 10k or so. And hold off the boss and kill the djinn and look out for sharks. And if your not get there you don't have time to dps the boss cuss the next wave of siren are at the door and the oger. I don't want the game to be easier I do like how it is but the boss wave are just impossible for normal players. Like me

Why don't you get the boss weapon from campaign?
Also you can get squire and use any dps pet it's even easier; 
Siren with immunity to your weapon will be a big issue always solo, it's not weapon related, you can manage by constantly upgrading the walls until you kill boss, or try tanking both boss and ogre, or if you're squire just build more walls on that ogres' path... there's some ways to work around it. But yeah getting siren of your weapon's element on solo is just the worst thing possible in the world

My brother (FlevaSeva) and I have decent Godly gear (~5,5k main stat, 2k supplementary stats) and Campaign Boss weapons for Hunter (Demon Lord) / Monk (Ancient Dragon) & Decked our Squires w/ Bulldozer pets. Yet we have major issues killing the Demon Lord Boss on Massacre Hardcore Survival.

Before the patch we could easily kill the boss without our defenses being torn apart. But after the latest updates are defences just get demolished by the boss. The Strength Drain not being applicable to the boss' anymore has been a major thing for us.

We do okay-ish damage with our Squire/Monk or Squire/Squire or Monk/Hunter setups, but simply not enough to outdamage the destruction done on our defences. To specify further, we don't even die... It's purely our crystal getting destroyed due to the boss instagibbing our defences. Even if we pull the boss to the side, the fire he spawns kills our walls.

EDIT: Yes, I know this is not about SOLO-ing the boss, but it happens to apply the same with our SOLO tries.

Nor will the weapon you get on mas survival, you have to have a stable build, if you're building for a dps race on the boss it's not really gonna work out even with a good weapon.

I'm not saying it didn't get harder, but it's by no means impossible, the str drain not applying is indeed annoying, but if you're running squire it shouldn't as bad as long as you understand how the aggro works in this boss fight you can just corner him as long as your build holds and if you got a 2nd person you don't even need to worry about repairing the stuff yourself. 

So how the aggro works is that this boss (doesn't apply to goblin mech god knows why) always attacks the one closest to him. Its very easy to aggro him until he starts flying, when he starts flying he will look at the person closest to him and fly backswards while shooting fireballs, if you keep this in mind as squire tank you can perfectly control the boss even when he's flying, what I do, I try to put his back into a corner so that when he flies he doesn't run away from me. 

An annoying attack that usually kills defenses is the fire that goes through the ground, if you're aggroing, specially as squire this fire will come to you, if you move while he sends his fire or if you're too close, the fire will curve and try to hit you after doing a curve, so you have to keep this in mind and have no defenses near the spot you are at when you're aggroing him, and never have a defense behind you in case the ground fire goes in a straight line at you. With practice this gets easier.


Don't get me wrong guys I'm just trying to help, I think he hits way too hard but I don't think it's impossible at all nor a weapon problem.
If your walls are going down too fast try putting them on a buff beam made by your waller EV and they will be really tanky

I just did Alch lab boss MHC wave 25.  You just need to move it away on the side with a Squire and tank it until its killed by the towers. I was under a fully upgraded and EV boost healing aura to keep my HP stable. I kept the Squire in block all the time, so the weapon I had was pretty irrelevant. I did have a good steam pet doing 300k per hit.

It's rng whether you can do that though. I had a fool proof build (I thought) with gas traps and shock beams on both lanes but somehow both my walls still got pushed after a while

It happens to me also, when this happens, move with the boss near the crystals where they walls were and aggro Ogres on you.

Man i feel you i was progressing the boss I was farming the steam robot for many hours and one day before the patch, get him to 3 milion HP and i said ok next day easy kill. The next day the new patch completely nerfed the squire s dmg and boost the boss to the level that he one shotted me with my 500k HP squire. I was like wtf... what happened.

I was so pissed man, I could not figure this out, so I observed what is killing my walls and it was the fire. I needed to relax. Next day I focused on finding a perfect place to tank him.

There are 5 main things you have to do to make this very smooth:

1. Tank the boss in the correct spot - this means face him off the towers and walls(he must face you), so he will cast the fire on you, move a little aside and continue.

2.  Boost your walls with EV beam - it provides 50  percent extra armor - which will ensure you dont need to repair anything or maximally once during entire boss combat.

3. Tank him inside your healing aura+ lightining aura - this will provide you with enough heal and extra dps to him from aura.

4. Tank him outside of range of most of towers - towers should take care of monsters to not kill your barricades not the boss - the boss will be killed by your pet actually.

5. Do not forget that during blocking no mana is recovered - it stops mana from regenerating. So the trick is once he melee hits you - go as close as possible to him and he will miss you can recover a little bit of mana there and then block again. By doing that you can have full mana in like 30s and once its full just use C to boost pet dmg.

I killed him solo many times since then and it works perfectly - its bulletproof strategy.

Also i saw someone telling that fairy is healing you every 0.5s to full hp, so you can try that too if you have good sword with high DPS.

If you want you're towers to prioritize mobs over the boss

In Alch lab, a good spot is on the right side of the forge,  where most builds place a  poison trap (I also put an inferno trap there to make sure Sharken dies before they get out of the poison trap).  The boss will not be in line of sight of the apprentice fire towers so they will hit mobs.  The DSTs will still be able to hit the boss through the forge. In that build have 2 fire towers and 3 DST's by the wall on the left side. My Apprentice has my best gear, with over 6k power and over 3k all other stats. I have 2 EV's, one for walls and one to boosts towers.

In Throne Room, I used an heavy apprentice towers built also between the 2 crystals. With the squire, keep the boss away from the Crystals but you need to be in a healing aura because a lot of Ogres will be hitting you on top of the boss.  I always failed with no tower builds there, its more for group play imo.

On both maps, I rely on the DST's and not just my pet to help me killed the boss .
