Game is too easy?

Hi all, its me again!

I'm playing DDA, and i think the game is too easy! 

 

I installed DDE agains, just for fun, and i notice that if u try solo, u'll probably have a hard time at the start even in Easy difficulty

 

Other thing, u can lvl all 4 chars at the same time, its take some of the fun, i just make one of each class and start playing solo, did all the content solo, and now im waiting for more content

 

It make me lost some interest in the game

 

I'm making this post more like a feedback, hope u guys understang

Then u Beated up everything NM Massacre every Map? Every Survival?

How the hell did you beat massacre summit solo?

its been done a fair few times even on a squire so its possible

It just take forever and I hope the game get harder it's to easy. Only map I had trubble was boss maps. But when you hit 4 k all maps are to easy the drop rate is to high 

Well, I still have Summit and Glitter (Massacre) to do. So far no luck, and I have 10+ Steam friends who also play DDA. If you are feeling "charitable" lately please add me

unsure if there is any ayum did it live on twitch  a few days after massacure dropped

The only broadcast of him doing summit is from 25 days ago where he was in a group with 4 ppl and they couldn't get to the boss phase. The next broadcast is two days later where he is doing glitterhelm with the same group. I doubt he did it solo during that time.

This game is far from easy by itself but the nature of getting carries to content you can't solo generally makes it appear easy. I would say Massacre is a good example of the difficulty in part because there is nothing past it yet to over gear yourself with. You basically have to grind it out or have someone help you farm Glim for 300 gear

Just use a pet monkey or dragon

If the game is so easy can you share with us if you beat all of it by yourself only and solo all maps?

i bet you got carried by someone or you just finished hard or insane and now bragging how easy it is.

Show me how you build solo lava mines right after the nightmare in Massacre or Throne room massacre. Please show me how easy it is solo.

Antharix, yes, i did all the content solo in Massacre dificult, im lvl97 now with all chars with 8k Item power in all items
No one carry me, i just like the game and played alot.

To do massacre dificult i just focus my DPS hero, farmed nightmare alot to have a good dps and abuse the enrage aura. 
 

It wasnt first try, i did MANY and MANY builds, didnt use any kind of site or forum to help, so, i cant tell u the exactly build i did

 

If u dont belive me, no problem, u have the right of the doubt

Wha make the game easy is loot drop. Are to easy the optain. You don't have rate drops if you play like 20 h 30 max you have a Max out char 

Well, im not talking about time, if u play any game in easy dificulty and the game have alot of content, it wont make tha game harder, just longer

Im talking about dificulty, the item r OP, the massacre dificulty isnt a real challange, try to finish DD1 solo, u'll the its alot more harder than DDA

Im comparing DD1 with DDA, and for me, DDA look too easy, u can level all chars at the same time, items just have almost all stats always

 

i hope this change when they release Massacre Survival

I think that complaining that the game is too easy before massacre survival and Endless survival come out is a bit disingenuous.

There will always be people that think a game is easy, no matter how difficult you make it.  Dark Souls, Super Meat Boy, Battletoads, the list goes on.  The issue seems to be coming from people thinking DDA is intended to be a super-hard game.  It's not.  It's meant to be a grinding game.

The game can absolutely be unfairly difficult, just try going straight to NM with a deck of newly created heroes.  I bet you end up failing the map a few times.  You could probably even get that super-difficult vibe just by switching your equipment up.  Try Massacre with only sub-mythic gear, or give your heroes armor from 4 different sets.

As with many games, when you hit max level and have overcome all the experiences from end-game, you are over-powered.  Some people enjoy this feeling.  The ability to go back and see how far into survival you can get with a single Magic Missile turret.  It's the New Game+ part of Dungeon Defenders.

Yeah i think this is great comment.

For this part i would suggest that challenges should be really challenging like it should be super hard to do with huge restrictions and scalings but also very rewarding.

This remains me the MASTERY in DD2 which was in my opinion the best idea of that game.

IF that could be implemented into DDA and rewards will be good it can entertain for a while.

 

Also the author of this topic admitted that he abused the enrage aura - which kinda contradicts what he says and approves what you are saying.

Everyone can make this game hard for himself.

So if the game is so easy can you do it under 11 hours to Nightmare? Can you do it in 20 to massacre? Try it. Challenge yourself. Make it harder for you.
