Senior1893 27 Posted June 18, 2020 (edited) Mixmode does give slightly better loot. I can 100% confirm this from my personal runs. It isn't huge, but it is there. Edit: It may be giving me a higher chance at receiving max possible loot from the current map/difficulty. I know I wasn't pulling 190 items until I started running MMHC.
