Loot quality down?

Before going live I was doing Promenade NMHC survival for gear upgrades and coin.  I was getting quite a few Mystical with a few Transcendent towards the end waves. I've made a couple runs today same map and settings NMHC and the loot drops are bad.  The hand pet at wave 15 was never that impressive common with 131-191 upgrade points,. Today with live I got one hand pet with 49 and a second with 61. EA armor and weapon dropped Mystical with upgrades anywhere from 200 to 400+ with a transcendent or two in there.  Today's live runs where mystical and lower with the upgrade points for the most part being in the double digits and a couple around 131.

On top of all the lower loot drop stats I'm struggling to even get through to the end waves where before live I couple do it solo as long as I paid attention and did repairs. Now I can't repair fast enough to get to other towers going down. I've also noticed my health being way lower on Nightmare live then nightmare EA.  Has anyone else noticed this happening?  I mean, I guess I could just be having a bad day!

Yeah the loot was significantly nerfed, I am playing solo and the progression curve is now much slower mainly in Nightmare. Until nightmare its easy.

But its duable I think -You just need to do it in little steps. I am now finishing Mista mines survival probably like 10x try:] and i was not able to make it still to 25 waiting on good pet drops.

Anyway with starting from wave system the Game offers you much less grinding for good pets so this will make significant boost to stats. Like my first rock in NM was 160+ stats which almost doubled my stats:]

Also DPS chars are now significantly nerfed thx to 50 - 70 upgrades on weapon.

The game overall in nightmare is harder - which is good - it should not have been AFKable all time.

Probably they are trying to "slow" down progression so people will play more rather than just be in end-game gear in 2 days.

You can still easily get to a point of afking most NM survival still. With 1500 Power and 700 rate on your Apprentice, afking Ancient Mines while starting at wave 24 is easy. You certainly don't progress as fast but the nerf only really affects those who had 4k+ stats who will now only get to around 3k.

jeez man how are you guys so far into the game already lol, how many hours have you put in? I barely just beat it in hard alone but I only got 10 hrs n level 20ish so I am slowly getting their. The game hasn't got me as motivated as DD1 but I will get into it for sure.

yeah it's completly nerfed.

Did Promenade  from wave 1 to the end few times in 1h15min and got only trans with max 202 ups instead of 402 ups before the release of "full game".

It can't be because my ipwr is too low since my all heroes got 350 to 400 ups gear.

Thats'why i think the devs told us the "ATTEMPT" to transfert our stuff from legacy mode to play mode.

Because the new loot is either broken or intended nerfed making the end game almost impossible for massacre atm.

Even with legacy gear it's not easy at all if you do not have decent dps hero since you get so few mana to build your defense.

I don't wanna grind like a in a korean mmo game-like to gain +10 stat on gear each run like in kinda dd2.

The grind gear was hell in DD2, and i'm wondering if it's going this way in dda or will the nerf be over when the survival massacre will be out.

That way they will know what stat is good in nm surv for drop and for massacre surv drop.

But sure the game is out of beta xd.

Maps of shards missing, costumes, and more...without even considering new content...

 Makes me wonder what CG is going to do from here on out--- to prevent the power creep that happened in DD1 while keeping the new content refreshingly challenging for all players.

I must have been at a good point before the update.  I think what they did makes sense.  Since they added Mixmode and massacre it makes sense that the drops will be slightly less significant in regular hc survival.  I'm getting upgrades and lots of trans from Magus and just starting my runs at 24.  The only thing that is a little frustrating is how few upgrades we see on high end gear now compared to before. 

All things considered I'm happy with things at this point, but I'm still nervous about what all we are going to lose with the Legacy tool.  Have Chromatic said if we will loose all our gear or keep any of it?  After so many hours into it it's gonna be frustrating working back to where I am.

I know that they've said all gear will be converted from EA to 1.0 but not much besides just that. My worry is this. I've tried doing maps in 1.0 that I was doing in EA with my main characters that are level 93. None of my gear is upgraded to max, most of it is 180 of 300+ UPGRADED. I can no longer do the same maps with these character in 1.0 that I did in EA, Promenade NMHC survival with this supposedly overpowered gear from EA.  How will I fair with the 1.0 gear if I can no longer complete maps with the EA overpowered gear?

 

I've also read that the gear in 1.0 is different in that the stats are higher to make up for upgrades being a lot lower. I don't know if this is true because all the gear I've gotten in 1.0 has been a lot worse stat and upgrade wise and I can't farm the maps I use to to get the 1.0 gear.

I just picked up s trans giraffe 200 ups from NM survival 450+ all base stats, better than anything I already had. I'm maxed out legacy gear but I'm finding armour drops that are definitely worth the change. I will maybe lose a 100 or so in power but that 100 is likely an extra 200 spread across builder stats alone, on top of that more upgrades across the board on the rest of the stats.

This is good. Now I need to get my characters so I can do NMHC survival again.  I was worried because the best I've found  in 1.0 has been no where near as good as EA gear.

the upgrades are lower on play but same sort of stats are possible  my app is sat at 1.7k power 1.6k drate and 1k range without much effort in 83 gear ( non massacure)  my huntress is at  2.8k power  missing his 83 geraffi atm my munk is almost 2.5k power again missing his 83 geraffi my waller is at 2.7k  by the time i get through massacure and get the 90 gear from there ill be sat somewhere near what my stats was on legacy but ill proberly port my chars over before i get there and be bk to 4-5k stat builders  when that happens.

i have the stats where i can start prom wave 24 nmhc and sit on boost munk on my dsts and clear wave 24-25 in 10mins ish to farm geraffis not got gliter that esay yet
