Please leave a review on DD:A on Steam with your thoughts on the current situation

If enough people do this, Chromatic may actually do something about the soft reset and price decrease. I'm not encouraging brigading with negative reviews, just leave your honest opinion on what you think and whether or not you "recommend the game" in Steam's words. You should go leave a positive review if you agree with the changes.

They are already doing something, no?    What do you have in mind exactly?

Also, we should warn potential buyer because of a wipe that don't concern them, and a price cut that actually is good for them? I don't get it.

I honestly think this is a pretty bad practice because you aren't actually rating the game on its own merits. If a bunch of people actually did look at this post and go leave negative reviews (effectively brigading) it would give a false impression on the quality of the actual game itself. Yeah, the soft reset and price change can be frustrating, but they aren't relevant to future purchasers and abusing steam reviews to force developers hands without actually reviewing the quality of the game seems like a problematic way to go about things

I didn't suggest brigading, I suggested leaving an honest review on Steam about what you currently think of DD:A whether that's positive or negative.

It's a $2 worth skin and the I doubt that the transfer will be full (including gear) as the reason they made legacy in the first place was to get rid of the old gear

What are they doing? I havent played much since ev came out. Ive read the rift stuff but dont understand the soft reset

Old post Vosh. There was a slight hiccup when Massacre came out where gear initially went down from NMHC Survival. That's long past. A similar thing happened with rift where the gear for rift was percieved to be worse ue to where it dropped. Once you get over the need to regear it's not such a biggie. The trouble with it is perception. This was not in any way mitigated by any sort of comms that I saw. It just landed here you go watch Jiucebags or Anthem to work out wtf is going on and deal with it, because it is what it is. Alot of people got salty.

I’m a simple man. No Summoner or rumoured Dryad I don’t play.

Either one of those will gain my interest in the game again. 

Just like that I'm done playing.  Great game as of right now, but I don't feel a need to grind if it's all going to be reset.  They get my 10/10 and very thick review with my catered responses for people who do great jobs.

 

Again I'm not grinding out 100+ hours for it to vanish.  SOOooo I can wait.

Sorry if there's a joke here that's going over my head, but, Nyanacide, the "reset" that the users above are talking about was a gear nerf that already happened months and months ago.  This post is from back then, but someone commented on it to bring it back to the front page.  It's not referring to something that is going to reset your progress sometime in the future.
