ThingDoer 38 Posted May 30, 2020 Because negative feedback always seems to outweigh positive feedback online, I just wanted to take a minute and share my appreciation for you weathering the storm over the last 24 hours as many of us, including myself, vented our frustrations over the launch issues/decisions. Thank you for hearing us out, digesting our concerns, and providing a clear explanation of how you plan to smooth out these ruffled feathers. As someone who was really only upset about the play/legacy point - I, for one, am extremely satisfied with Augi's response today, and I'm excited that I can spend this weekend diving straight into the new content I've been looking forward to for the last month without feeling like I'm wasting my time doing so. I'd also like to thank the defenders here. Though some tempers definitely got heated, and we may have had a troll or two pop their heads in for a bit, I feel like many of the conversations here stayed pretty respectful despite the differences of opinion. Which is more than can be said for some other game communities out there. Looking forward to many more hours of grinding for that ever elusive transcendent paintball gun! 5
dizzydiana 492 Posted May 30, 2020 I would like to echo the OP. i was not quite as upset as others my main issue was the repeat of yet again not telling us first. i appreciate that you took all the heat and tried to find a way to smooth everything over. I have some worries over what has been proposed, but i do not wish to create more negativity. I hope that things moving forward will run allot smoother for Chromatic and the community as a whole. I hope the right lessons have been learned, and wish everyone good luck with their grinding.
pigboy 20 Posted May 30, 2020 I agree with OP and CG -- thank you CG for making the right decision! I love this game and want it to continue to grow into the best DDA to date!

I agree with OP and feel like the post made today felt much more sincere. I just wish this had been their first thought, not a response to what has transpired but I am happy with it nonetheless. I will admit my initial response was a bit heated, and I would like to apologize for that. I got caught up in the heat of the moment and felt like I was stabbed in the back after initial promises made. I have enjoyed the gameplay so far and am looking forward to split screen coming out, it was just the decisions made outside the game and lack of communication that really rubbed me the wrong way and what seemed like Chromatic Games was just throwing the initial supporters under the bus. While I admit Chromatic Games has not completely gained my trust back this is a big step in the right direction and am looking forward to seeing where they take this game. I will be changing my review on steam accordingly. Thank you for listening
Alhanalem 62 Posted May 30, 2020 There have been definitely some challenges which have caused totally legitimate user frustration, but all in all, DDA has done a darn good job revising a classic for a new age, I'm certain they will get up stronger from these stumbles. :)

PNM86 16 Posted May 30, 2020 I would be happy with the hero's and the xp, if the gear is broken, get rid of it completly.

Allaen 2 Posted May 30, 2020 +1 What OP said and thank you CG. For what it‘s worth I would also be completely fine with Hero Levels and EXP only. Gear would be nice but ok if you can‘t migrate it.
