Marked as Hacker?

Out of nowhere after 3 hours, marked as hacker?

Anyone else?

need to go into more detail about what happened.  like did you try and swap a legacy save to play or something? 

No, I started on "Start" the new heros and now after ~3h I tried to join a game and now my friends get a warning when I want to join them or want to join me. :((((((

i have the same problem like you brfjx, but iam not sure from what it came from.

Mary commented on the Discord that "There may be an issue with the hacker message going to people" after it was brought up there.  I don't know anymore than that, but at the very least they seem to be aware of a potential issue with it.

There seems to be an issue where it's triggering so it's being looked into right now! We can look at profiles and see that people are not actually hackers though so not worries if you're not hacking. Send me a PM with your Steam name if you are marked! PM here or on Discord!

I'd like to highjack to thread to say that guilt by association is never a good idea. This has clearly shown to be a failed system punishing people for "associating" with "hackers".

I tried joining my friend and he states that I'm showing up as a hacker.......  Any body I can talk with to fix this?

To be fair I wouldn’t want to reply directly to people with how angry the community is right now and Mary would just be an unfortunate casualty.  The communication may have been severely lacking and of there will be consequences for that, but let’s not start a witch hunt on devs replying to posts. Thanks for the tip @[CG] Mary, I hope me and my friends don’t have to ever contact you for this bug.

@KnowsNoLimits Holy moly mate long time no see. 

I mostly play single player, but aside from friends (Who currently do not own the game sadly) I rarley play multi. If I don't realise I am marked as a hacker until months later, could you still be able to tell my innocence and revoke the label?
