Xbox One - you cannot join a game session with the same account as the primary player

I have a primary account on my Xbox for myself, and created another account for my GF using a different email address.

However, I cannot for the live of me, play DD2 on local split screen as I keep getting the following error message you cannot join a game session with the same account as the primary player.
How do you get around this, why is it so hard? (or why am I so stupid....?)

If someone knows how to bypass this, please let us know. My kids want to play this...

it seems that here on the forum there is only player helping player, if it wasn't for the update, I would say that this game is abandoned...

answering your question: it happened here too, but I don't use a second controller, I use an app as a controller. so sometimes when I'm going to try to enter the second account by pressing start, from that same message. how did I solve this?:

- Restart your Xbox or game and try to open it again.
- Before turning on the second control or app, enter the two accounts you want to use using the main control (switch accounts).these were the two ways I found it.

you can look for an ADM or CG here on the forum and send a message to him, or open a support call (both options you will wait for an update to get answers).
