My favorite memory was the Final Trendy sponsored event. It was the challenge of Polybius and the map was the gorgeous temple of water. I remember having fun trying to decipher the puzzle. It was so difficult back then for the low stats, but a lot of fun.

O the memories, finally beating GTH after only needing that achievement for months, getting records in CD, my first moonbase ++ after 8 mil kills, the God Squad final polybius event.... but my favorite is the vast amount of time spent not actually playing and just chatting in taverns with yall \o/   DD has always been about the community over the gameplay for me so no matter what i'm excited for DDA to be a success :D  lets keep farming and beating up goblins with pant-less squires lads

My favourite memory has got to be back when I first played DD1 on the xbox with my friends,
we used to have roles when we played, I would always tend to play huntress because of how cool the traps were. Eventually we got geared enough to solo most maps on insane but never got enough to do Insane+.

Few years go by, and I was able to play on the PC, though I played alone. I have been on and off from DD1 for quite some time, recently just learned this is the final community update and I have to say, thank you for helping improve the game and your dedication to DD1. I have progressed through DD1 alone through the years, and nothing will beat the memories I have playing it on the console with my friends.

There are definitely many good memories I have of DD, but the main ones that come to mind are:

1. Someone I met in a public game that I ended up playing with almost every day for months on end when I was just a new player.  They showed me the ropes, gave me a little bit of gear, and guided me on how to improve and become just as good as they were.  They no longer play, I have them still on my Steam friends list and will always remember all of the good times I had with them.

2. When I got my first, and only, Ult++ from lab.  I was so happy and figured this was my ticket to get an actual supreme set of armor for one of my builders. Little did I know, but quickly learned with the help of many of the people from the forum / Steam group, it was worth way more and lead me to make so much progress making the game even more enjoyable.  That week or few days that I held that auction, I remember checking the forums every day, a couple times a day, and being filled with excitement seeing the bids go up and up.  That was something I always remember about this game.

3. My last memory I want to list is probably when I finally took a look at the hours played.  It is probably small compared to many of you, but looking at all of the hours I poured into this game and just knowing almost every single one was me having a good time is something that I will always remember.

Thanks for all the good times!

A favorite moment for me is to read discord every day and laugh at some of the stuff, people getting mad, being sarcastic to others. I believe is what the community is in some wack way. This game will be nothing without CDT and finally us as players. so thanks for another exciting year full of fun and for many to come. Obrigado Thales

My favorite memory was when I first played deeper well on the x-box 360. I was so clueless on how to play, so it took me a couple hours to learn how to build. Looking back to that day I find it funny on how stupid I was, but i love the game none the less.  I have always adored tower defense games since that day and i proceed to play all types of them today.

My favorite memory of this game was a simple forum post.  Some guy named nasteboyii was looking for some help with a challenge called sky of love.  It remained one of the last achievements on my list and I knew that I needed some help to complete it.  We linked up on skype, had a great time and 8 years later we are still completing challenges together across many games.  A true lifelong friendship was built that day and this game gave that to me.  Thank you Trendy and thank you CDT.  Naste, can't wait to continue defending this tavern with you in Awakened.

My favorite memory has to be my first time beating The Old One.
Epic boss fight, amazing music, and you have to practise a lot for it.
It was extra tense when your teammates died from the first few slams and you were only using a pawn shot,
but you still made it before time was up. That satisfaction was indescribable.

I love the fight so much that I use that background music for my tavern.
I used to played that practice map on Open just to have fun too.

My favourite memory would have to be the first time my best friend and I beat City in the cliffs on insane. An online friend came and place some defense on spawn but had to leave before he placed defense else where so my friend and I placed the rest of the defense even though we didn't really have good enough defense for it. We spent all of the last few waves rushing across the map to repair and finished with basically no health on the crystals.

My favorite memory has to be the time the time we joined plane's lobby and she placed a gas trap with lots of hp and with a group of like 8 people we we're just standing around it and detonating it but when it was almost destroyed someone repaired it. And then we started all over again and a hour later we we're done.
