[GIVEAWAY] Celebrating the Final Patch

Recommended Posts

My favourite memory with the game, was probably when I was playing with my ''B/G'' team on Ranked Mode and we were beating map after map from Campaign, I remember when Insane was a real challenge for us back then! haha good old times ^^  I was always playing the Huntress, while my other teammates were playing Monk and Squire. I was really surprised how good Monk class was. Although we managed to do some Events together, it was very cool.

Just hearing the name, i was hooked, lol. Got it for PS3, had ordered a brand new gaming rig for BF3 but that hardly got used as I was hooked on DD, but ofc the pull of nm called and I dumped that account and never looked back :) 2k hours of fun & frustration, cheers Trendy (CG^^).

I stayed in solo mode for quite a while as a mage only, finally I joined  a coop and saw a squire for teh first time - those harps!! Looked so cool.

God, so many...
Playing this game with a full room at launch on ps3, breaching into pc and learning how much of the game i thought i understood was so much bigger than i thought, quitting after the 'final' update having beaten old one as the 'final' boss and coming back to the CDT and an amazing community... & all the wide ranges of content since.
I'm gonna miss this damn game so much; it's definitely cemented as one of my favorite games- and one of the sources of my favorite memories- of all time.

I love what you did with this game, trendy. I love even more what you allowed the CDT to do.

For my favorite memory i’d have to pick the evenings i played this game with my nest mate way back when. The game wasn’t out long and i saw my at the time favorite youtuber playing it. My only online coop experience then was playing minecraft with that very same friend so playing thus was solething totally new to me. We would spend hours gronding and that first time completing insane glitterhelm caverns survival was such an amazing feeling. I still have a great time playing this game but as with most games, nothing really beats the wonder of that first time.

My favourite memory of DD1 was when I hosted Glitterhelm's map and Billy joined to my game. After a while of talking he told me about discord group DDRNG, so thus I joined. I didn't know after so many years there are still players that played the game. It was after my break from this game, because my old laptop couldn't handle DD1 properly. I have met some nice people and I had lots of fun.

My favorite memory? That's an easy one. I first started playing Dungeon defenders back in 2012. I was 14 at the time. Every morning for months I would get up as early as I could (given there was no school) and flip my xbox 360 on and go straight to DD. My younger brother at the time would jump out of bed when he heard the intro cinematic playing and plug in his controller. We would game for hours having the time of our lives and not having to worry about a thing. We would play until our Mom would have to come upstairs and threaten to shut the dang thing off. Those were the simple more beautiful times. I remember being obsessed with putting points into my squires defense attack rates because I wanted a steady stream of spear bolts being unleashed on unsuspecting hoarders of enemies.

My favorite part about DD was all of the special weapons and pets you can find. Like a sawblade or a treadmill on a treadmill.

Definitely had to be originally spending hours on hours and countless of attempts until finally beating the crystalline dimension and killing the old one, allowing me to play as a parent! Great memories and am very excited for DDA

my favorite memory was playing dungeon defenders with my friends on the workshop servers, playing and finding all the community made maps. All the creativity that the community has is so fun to see and experience.

My DD1 memory is when me and a buddy completed Alchemical Laboratory insane survival, on the Xbox 360 :classic_blink:( was before we move over to the PC). Took us over 10 hours but it was worth it to get our hands on a Giraffe On Treadmill. I was praying that my Xbox won't freeze or overheat since I was the host and boy was that thing on fire. The only sad part was that after I got my Giraffe it had low tower damage :classic_sad:.

When I faced the Old One for the first time, hearing that music with a dreadful tone. It took a few tries, but I figured out how to beat him, then the music turned around to an upbeat "you've got this!" tone. I can still remember the chills it gave me.

Since this thread is all about the nostalgia, I want to give a huge thank you to everyone who has helped the CDT with feedback, requests, but most importantly, enjoying the content we've put out there. From April 2015 to November 2019, Chromatic Games gave me an opportunity to make my mark on Dungeon Defenders in a way that I never thought possible. Hopefully when DDA is released I'll have an opportunity to continue making weapons, pets, and accessories.
