I've had a lot of moments, one of them was running poly with a full team over and over for days 2 years ago. Also a couple of years ago when i was really in the game i used to run with Plane a lot, it was really nice to figure out new builds and tower placements on different maps had a lot of fun,

My favorite memory was finding games where people were respectful and wouldn't expect you to build unless you offered to. I often resorted to playing as lower level characters to experience these good times again.

My favorite memory was playing the game on 360 and looking up gameplay for it. Most of the gameplay was on the computer, so i downloaded the computer version because it looked alot more fun than the 360. The family computer at the time wasnt quite good enough to run it, so we had to order a dinky little graphics card. When we finally got it and put it in the pc i thought the graphics were so good, but the game skipped like crazy.

My favorite memory was when i was playing this game with my friend and i didn't know anything about the game. I just watched him to do everything because i thought he was so good. Now i know lvl 74 isn't so good, but i still like to watch when better guys build something special.

My Favourite moment was playing Crystalline dimension the first time on Nightmare Hardcore with 2 friends. One got the build and the other 2 helped with the defending. we stayed up late to finally finish this map :D that was so excitng because we barely passed it. but after that we felt great.

Since the beta for DDA ended up being release at almost the same time as the final patch for DD1, the event team decided to wait till it was near the end of the period to do this giveaway.

It's been a long fun journey, and on the spirit of the event right after the first CDT patch, we'll be giving a pretty neat item to celebrate. You don't get to play an event map this time around, but everyone can receive ONE of them by commenting their favorite DD1 memory on this thread and linking their steam profile on the post.

This giveaway will be in the style of the beta ones. After posting your submission here, you'll be able to contact a host for your item (after December 15) and there will be a trace sheet for the item. The item will be limited for one per person, and trying to get it on alt account WILL get you banned from any future events and special giveaways from my part, so don't think there will be no consequences for cheating to get extras.

The extra time before being able to get the item is to be able to organize it on our side and get a backlog of people to trade all at once.

This giveaway will last for the next 3 weeks (Ending at Jan 5 2020), so be sure to spread it around. (Time may be extended due to holiday seasons)

 

 

Please don't post any screenshots of the item on this thread to avoid ruining the surprise for other people

my best memories is when the game appears. it s so a great game to play.

The best part was when I first started playing DD. Never read up on what to equip or how to distribute points. Instead, I wore mixed armor added all points to health and managed to have hours of fun. LOL.

Once you have learned, its feels good to help new players pickup on the techniques.

Favourite memory of the game is exploring it together with friends. We all didn't know anything, but we had a blast. I made my steam account because of DD1 actually :D
