10/10 REROLL PREVENTION FEATURE REQUEST! it only seems logical for such a function to exist and we all know it is time to have it!

Recommended Posts

as the tags said... i FINALY got my 10/10 defence rate.... but spamming.... i dont know if this can be reverted and i am FREAKING out......

i know people who did the same and got their reroll stupiditys covered by the devs and would like to know if others had this same mistake fixed.... if they can and if my steamfriends are to be believed then i may yet have hope...... check my history check that purple medal i think it was, i think historys on rerolls can be checked, i dont know how it all works but please.... if someone knows how to fix this stupid mistake.... I BEG YOU..... ive spended TONS  of hours into farming the max tokens and eventualy started spending the c4 ones i had..... i cant let this waste of life be in vain....

update: rather then begging for help, instead lets dedicate this topic to open the eyes of the developers TO AD AN 10/10 REROLL PROTECTION!!! thank you

Well..... Better luck next time, take it on the chin, learn from your mistake and don’t be so trigger happy.

Make good use of non technical skills and slow down as you progress through the re-rolls in anticipation.

thats true.... still i wish i wasnt such an idiot.... 7 months..... 7 long painfull boring months.... tho i need to find a way to grind 286 tokens back...... this will take another 7 months i bet.....

i realy hope chromatic is going to implement a feature that when you get a 10/10 modit will automaticly get a reset cooldown or something.... thats kindof why i posted this topic... showing 1 of the most dumbest MOST STUPIDEST THINGS ever done..... i realy hope such a feature will be made reality oneday....... but now? i am sick and beat from dd2.... when i saw that 10/10 swap to 3 i was litteralt shivvering like a crazed lunatic who cant sit still.... i felt HORRIBLE and i litteraly cried xD.....

As you re-roll look for the green colouring maybe say each colour out loud before pressing the button :) red, red, red, green etc

must of been really frustrating for you all the same. I would be gutted also

Just keep a rough  count,  say you have 100 tokens use them up being careful.  End of the day once you feel you are a couple hundred in you know will be soon.

although generally I had my first within 10 rolls so you never know.

soooooo if i save up tokens untill i get close to the limit

then spend them all on that 1 mod, and then farm the last few tokens i need to get them on the same mod

this is going to take abit BUT is a very solid and quick way to farm them! how genius1 how could that ive been so stupid

still, in the end ill still keep this up becouse the developers NEED to know that implementing a 10/10 cooldown cancler is a good thing xD

Farm 285 tokens, put the rest in your shop if you have like 10 extra....that way you cant reroll past it.  You still have to watch leading up to it tho.

That way for the last one, you just go back into your shop, and get the token out of your shop.  Make it high enough so no one will buy it, like 300k, and you essentially pay 45k in tax to ensure you dont roll past 286.

Remember, any here and there rerolls you have done, even if weeks ago, have counted towards the 286 conter.

Your forgetting tho it can take only 1 roll . I have not made any max rolls yet. Actually I don't think I have gone over 150 on any yet. I don't happy click either

Hi Uzar, didn't forget, mentioned "You still have to watch leading up to it tho".  But this could prevent a 286 re-roll off of the 10.  My first re-roll went the full 286.

Unfortunately I have never heard news of this being changed or reversed. What *should* happen is that a reroll upgrade should be accepted automatically, but I suppose this is a way to prevent the use of macros to get 10/10 servos of any variety. Unfortunately, clicking past your 10/10 mod reroll won't get reversed by the devs. I totally feel your pain on it, because I've done it once, myself. Just make sure to take a second after each reroll that you're not clicking the button on reflex. I once rolled past a 10/10 Frostfire Remnants for that reason.

I think all 8-9-10 rolls, the cursor should auto-default to "cancel" as the option to override, so if you happy click it does nothing and forces you to select "confirm".

Meanwhile I was recently rerolling a few mods to 1/10 , glad it doesn t force green.

But yeah , be careful next time. It's happened to a lot of players.

I do agree that there should be a little 10/10 mod protection.

I cried when I over rolled, just watch where you throw your controller, it’s common to players when frustrated to throw the controller, just make sure not on the screen or it will broke the screen and the controller, don’t random throw it or you might hit a person then break the controller and of course injured the person, don’t  also throw it out the window it’s possible you could hit something like a duck, a rabbit, a squirrel, a skunk, an old lady out walking, a person named archaic lotus ( this is ok, please throw something heavier to make sure this person is completely down cause it will make everyone fell better) a car, a cow or something then break your controller. So you don’t wanna do that when your frustrated and over rolled the servo or chip. Instead have a big fluffy pillow and throw your controller on that pillow, I guarantee you will fell a little better. Then just play the game. Happy defending.

note: once archaic read this he or she will be furious and right something dumb. that he or she alone thinks he or she thinks it’s a good comeback because his a proud veteran of dd2 and a lover user of the Drayad.

I don't think pinging them is going to get the attention you want. They are busy with DDA and don't have a CM yet so I would just wait for them to notice. They already have heard a thousand times from before DDA about this feature and still haven't made any move to implement it. The reasoning I can think of is we all have a 10 reroll protection already, ourselves. If you don't go click happy and don't get distracted then you can't possibly miss it.

but then there are many people who dont so again not everyone is the same ESPECIALY if he or she is doing multiple things at the same time (like me xD....)

but then we NEED such a feature wether you like it or not

and so i hope to keep this topic skyhigh so that they might finaly notice this...

Can you give me a few examples of the multitasking? I may have not run into any because when I play Im also streaming, so it may change how I think of the protection type feature.

for me thats mainly messaging on my phone or waching youtube wilst waching tv and playing on my 2dsxl xD.... my brother does the same whit his ps4 and laptop xD... and then there were his friends who usualy do such things too according to him, and then some of the ppl i see on discord claim to do the same, and then there was steam, lots of the players i friended on steam via dd2 do the same becouse grinding maps that are easily solowed is just BOOOOOOOORING XD

i recomend trying it out wile grinding, passes time insanely fast, but its also boring when just spamming 1 button.... i just wach yt videos wile doing it or just watch tv xD

final conclusion: its pretty normal to seek distractions if something is boring but must be done (insert thinking emojy here) :)
