New to moderately experienced players asking for help

Recommended Posts

1. Assume that the person that you are asking for help has already been asked at least ten times (safe assumption).

2. Don't expect.

3. If you're needing help badly then sweeten the request (offer items that would be appreciated) without the player you're asking for help bringing it up; show generosity.

4. If you want to learn how to deal with me, (CoD3 - Treyarch, Support Gunner (GT)clan and solo world record holder (xbox), and 4 times Tiger Woods world record holder (xbox)(all five records still standing) then join the haters club on the Discord (did I even spell that correctly?) channel and you will have a step-by-step history on how to handle me. I'm sure you'll even have players talk you right through it.

5. Life is hard. It's silly games like DD2, fresh air, a hard workout and artists that make it a little better, so enjoy what you have in front of you.

I need to add another rule for Brandonator:

6. If you're asking for help from players and you neither get it immediately nor when you want, don't curse out the player who isn't helping you when you want, and don't insult. Not really sure what Chromatic does to players with immature behavior, especially if it's against the ArchaicLotus gamertag (they might support you). However, the mothership, Playstation Network, will not and will take action against you.

Relax, enjoy the game. Be grateful that you are able to play it. If players do not act as you desire, don't sweat it.

U. Mr. Q_Rst80(not sure how to pronounce this), rachelsvqtr...and others, get to know someone before asking them real life personal questions.

I think we'll have enough, soon, to make a book of guidelines...😮

Sniper, Nate Diaz lost. So no Pristine Motes. You asking me out of the blue, "Can I have 20 Pristine Motes" is funny though.

Rule 8. Offer exchange for exchange. Those struggling with this game and yearning for cut-and-paste have already poisoned the beauty of this game. Asking for handouts negates the growth of wisdom from a small degree, to a large degree. Either way, it hinders your potential. If you are interested in the easy way out save yourself the trouble and don't message me. However, I will keep replying with a gladdened heart because I believe, deep inside of your mind and spirit, that you are learning something.

You'd think 1-3 would be common sense.

But uh 4? If people need an instruction manual on how to deal with you they're probably not the only problem... and I'm not sure what a golf game or FPS has to do with DD but okayyy, good for you?

They don't need an instruction manual, they need Discord. Yeah Blue, it's been all right, but not good I guess. Leaderboards and records don't change the quality of life, and I'm involved with plenty of both...everyone asking me for stuff is chasing a leaderboard stat in this game; thus, #4.

Playertt, this thread was created foor those type of people in mind. Asking for items, or screenshots of builds. When you don't comply they get deeply offended and lash out. Definately do not help these type of people make progress

Nobody owes anyone anything in this game. Create and master your own goals.

I appreciate it NeoNeo. Parents' basement, why not? It has a fireplace and a hot tub, and what's funny is that it isn't even my parent's basement. Thank you, though. I thought the hostility was going to continue with no end, but that is not possible when kindness abounds.
