Anyone having any luck with Prime III?

I've been getting skunked running it in a duo so far, no C8 weapons or shards yet. Just crummy RNG I assume. The lady orcs are the only thing that have been a pain, until I started stacking obscene amounts of damage on their lanes I kept having one randomly get through.

What maps did we get? Is it just Malthius?

Yeah just the one.

Are you on PS4 cause I can show you an easy way all Prime trials are very hard or simple enough  but I’m guessing the developers of the game left a hint on every prime just like the darken frost it’s either it’s very hard or it’s not so bad once you understand the idea and so far I’ve only seen a few players who figured it out

It’s prime 1-2 then they added 3 today I’ve seen on ps4

Yes but in The Ramparts 

I haven't got anything from it besides the Mega Shark Gun, I was going to ask if we get any Hyper-Shards from this

Won't get the Shard until next weeks map is released. You only get one for completing the prime. Look at the release notes to see the schedule. 

Okay so I read this entire post, decided I didn't have enough to drink and went on to other threads. Came back still without enough to drink and read it entirely again.

This started with a legit post and some good responses then got really weird really fast. As I type this I wonder if I should get really hammered first so I'm on the same page first lol.

To address a few things I saw and maybe help someone who comes in behind and reads this as well:

• Yes every Incursion map has a specific thing about it to make it special, ie. Chrome Enemies cannot be stunned or slowed, Mathius Incursion will have healing circles (for the enemies not players, that came up in one of my maps which was really weird for me to explain) and Demon's Lair will have a boss you need to lob lavaballs at to bring him down to damage him. (For anyone who may have missed that, these are the "Hints", just want to be sure)
• Yes we got Malthius Incursion (and it has always been on Ramparts) as the first map of Prime 3 and Power Surge will be next week which will complete Prime 3 as a group.
• The weapons have a very low chance to drop from the victory chest, and unfortunately c8 shards do not drop here but c8 amps will.

As a side/final note, these are scaling up in difficulty, I would say if you are starting to have troubles then you are reaching your limits on what you can do. This doesn't mean you suck at the game or anything, just that you need to be more equipped to handle what is intended to be endgame content, so its the last content you do not the middle.

I have had pretty decent luck with weapons, in 5 hours of farming I usually get at least 1 or 2 different weapons and maybe some copies of them. I don't think the chance to get them is too low but I do kind of wish we got something to trade for the weapons at a vendor so we can pick what we want and just worry about rolls rather than get something we don't want.

That MS gun is the normal incursion reward and is not connected to the "Prime" version of the map apart from it being a C7 drop now. Check my wiki Incursion page for more info. 

As Ex mentioned above, this map is 1/2 P3 maps, and both need completed before you get the HS for this set.

Will I’ll tell you this much to be fair I just use WM and a monk it’s gets it’s job done, no fancy smancy and it’s I ever used thru onslaught currently 503 cause I fall asleep so I’m slow. Hope that helps

So are you saying no fancy smancy legacy relic with water :) or max 999 ascensions points accredited :)

Just make sure you have CC to stun/petrify the mobs, and have enough damage to kill lady orcs. Those are the most important parts imo. Also avoid the healing circles by either spawncamping or building very far back. 

IMO, Malthius is the easiest prime map so far. Just have to make sure to kill everything before it gets to the healing circles.

I have no comeback to that comment it seems like you got me.But whatever works, works for me just fine and dandy.Some human likes to mixed it up, I do what ever works.

Oh yea juicebag did a video of how to beat the game so if you don’t wanna struggle like me just watch it

I think what Switchblade meant by that is, you can't put Shocking Revelation and a Water Servo on the same relic anymore. So your advice to use it was unhelpful to those who didn't have one before they removed it several months ago. Which, in my opinion, should have been disabled even for players with it because it has only caused more issues.

I've built it about 10 times now (ps4) and all I got was the Mystic weapon with a horrible roll.

I’ve got most of the weapon and  all are ch8 the only weapon eluded me so far is deathwing which frustrating

Yeah, always seems like the one you want never drops. I've gotten 4 deathwings, 2 Waveblades, and 3 of the bow (I farmed the hell out of the demon lord), but not a single one of the Gobu rifle, which is the drop I actually want.

Got a gobu rifle yesterday randomly while carrying some people. Only it rolled with hero health instead of AP :<

Noooo had about 5 gobu rifle drops about 3 wave blades (but rubbish stats 😔).  Still looking for a decent waveblade.

remember in wow, you kill a raid boss you get a token. take the token to the vendor and trade in for set gear... we need this. (Credit to Exglint, i Just agree wholeheartedly).
