Moving mods from one armor type to another

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Forgive me if this has been brought up before.. We can move servos from a Totem to a Medallion, but why not have the ability to move mods from say, Gloves to a Helmet?

Sure, it would lessen the grind and could make it too easy and maybe some could say it would take some of the fun of the chase away, or may even be unfair to all those who have done the grind and so far perfected their gear.

But what if it would just cost a boat load more materials and DM to do it, and/or took a combination of both of the material requirements?

cuz totem and medallion are both relics. u can put a totem into a "medallion slot", or a medallion into a "totem slot". glove can't go into helmet slot tho.

yh, I agree, it will make things easier. As far as a reasonable price,

Right now mods are 5m for those expensive chips like healthy power damage buff? and 2m is 2000 DM, so maybe 2500 DM to move mod across different piece? so take like 50% as "translating" cost.

And a helmet and glove are both armor pieces. None of the mods are specific to their respective pieces so it would make sense to be able to move them around just like with relics.

Not sure about 2500 DM though. Sounds a little steep. Considering you can buy shards for 1000 DM (bargain IMO) and that you're more likely to find a specific mod than you are a shard, Maybe that would be a fair amount plus 10 of each material?

Heck, though it may disrupt the player markets, why not even even have a mod vendor in town that would sell mods? Now that WOULD be too easy XD
