Its time again that we ask everyone to help test the latest CDT update.

We are a bit pressed for time on this one so we are going to provide a little extra incentive this weekend. There is a new map and a new challenge in this update that we would really like everyone to try out. For this weekend only, if you post a level victory screen for the new content there will be a special thank you from the CDT. 

Event Rules:

There will be a special item for beating the new map and the new challenge.  

Create a post with the level victory screen shots after you have ran the maps. 

You can run the new content solo or with friends. 

You must beat the content on at least medium difficulty.

Each person can only get rewards once. 

All posts must include a steam ID in the post. 

Please make sure to post any comments or bugs that you may have in your post.

Tried Emerald City solo, got to last wave and lost, played with a group with Caimen and was able to beat it. Was a fun map, some wyverns were stuck in rocks and some object aren't solid but otherwise played fine.

Neither map is rather hard. I have a few opinions about Emerald City though.

Emerald City:

Only the host (FireFighter69) got rewards for completing the map. Otherwise very nice work. These wyverns are badass

Bugs: we ran through most of the camels and we can play only nightmare mode

I dont know if its a bug, but the reflection beam doesnt protect against the arrows of the cupid

Some thoughts:

Flames has a cool concept where you have to focus on the phoenix during waves which means you can't just upgrade and not pay attention.

It makes the level more manageable for mid tier players who struggle with the final boss on regular embermount.

The shield seems to be at a reasonably high level relative to other accessories and it is nice to finally have a way to get shields.

Emerald City gets to be super laggy when not hosting because of all the spawn areas, maybe reduce the number of areas and spawn more mobs from each spawner. 

The cupid boss is quite tedious as the wyvern and Djinn constantly block it from being hit. A decent boss but after about 5 minutes it just becomes very tedious to deal reasonable damage to the cupid. 

Also, when not hosting there aren't drops so I don't know about those

Some thoughts on Emerald City: The bossfight is very repetetive and tedious. You're always getting hit by the Cupid's arrows, while it's simultaneously very challenging to land a hit back, due to all the Djinns between you and the boss.

Camels should be solid.

Cool maps, but Flames of Rebirth is too easy. Maybe reduce the countdown from 25 to 10-15, or at least boost the fledglings' hp a little?

( btw I'm a big fan of the air-only south core + boss on Emerald City, keep it up :D)
