Are you sure c8 amps still drops?

Since 2 patches ago, I haven't seen any c8 amp, I've done almost 100 floors and none has dropped. I need to start upgrading some towers to c8 because am beginning to lose power as i climb.  I just want to confirm, has anyone seen c8 amp drop since 2 patches ago? 

I wish trendy can make a fail safe like they did with mods. You get 1 c8 amp if you play 30 floors without one dropping.

I got one since the last patch.  Was on Juicebag's stream and he said he has been 140 floors without finding one.

I like that suggestion... I haven't seen any for a while and I estimate maybe 60 floors by now.

the drop rate is soooooo low . i been climbing and resetting for what seems like forever and i have 8 of them . I got 2 from floor 30 to floor 153.

and still haven't seen one :( Wish I would have never wrote down the floor of the last one haha.
