How do you name your heroes?

I name my heroes based of Clash of Clans troops hahaha. 

E.g. My EV2 is PEKKA

What about you guys?

Depends what comes to mind. I know all my characters names came by.

I name mine almost exclusively after Final Fantasy characters. Usually FF9, what with it literally being my favorite game. The sole exception being the Barbarian, who shall always be known as Dave.

My last batch I renamed based on the last songs on my playlist.

I try to think of something epic yet dumb at the same time. Like king trabs

I tend to go on who the heroes remind me of frompop culture like Gandalf for an apprentice, Katniss for my huntress, Aang for one of my monks, Ichigo or Cloud for a squire etc. but whatever I pick I have to have at least one monk named Steve ( referencing the "steves" from Yu Gi Oh abridged not Minecraft Steve).

I name them after my friends.

Monk: Krillin (changed to Tien for adult costume)

Apprentice: Squishy - I put all the points in Mana Bomb so it could cover the entire tavern, so he dies pretty easily

Squire: Leeroy (as in Jenkins)

Hunter: Starkiller

Summoner: Krona (any other comic book nerds?)

Barbarian: Hulk

EV: Jolteon

Jester: Harley Quinn

My co-op partner named their Apprentice Vivi

Same as everyone I suppose,

I normally seperate my heros into two classes:
Fighters
Builders

the fighters get named after related game chracters (for example my monk gets named Zhuzhen from Shadow Hearts on PS2 game I LOVE)

where as my builders get named Builder1, Builder2, Builder2 etc

 

I named mine after various symbols. Like, my Monk is Full Stop, because of Ensnare Auras. Barbarian is Slash, Huntress is Dash. My favourite is my Summoner, named Apostrophe.

I name mine with whatever dope combos with words/names that comes to my mind. I have to make sure they sound thematic and exotic in my mind.

First half is their reason, and back half is their original name. So a Huntress specialized in PDT would be my PDTress.
