Before i start this i just want to keep in mind of whoever is reading this: http://steamcharts.com/app/236110 . I've been playing DD 2 since the alpha release and because of that i believe i've enough experience to propose a way to keep the players we've, bring back old players and attract new ones. 


Ancient Power and Onslaught


1. From floor 1 to 35 the player will have to complete only 1 map.

2. The 5th floor and map will be Lost Temple. It will start Chaos 2 difficulty introducing Cyborks and stronger enemies. The 10th map will start Chaos 3 difficult introducing Geodes and stronger enemies. This will keep going up to floor 35 where Frost Enemies are introduced.

3. From now on if the players want to proceed above floor 35 he will have to prestige. 

4. The player will no longer lose the gear or upgrades. Equipaments and Shards are going to be locked until the player reaches the necessary chaos trial level to unlock it. For example a Power Transfer Shard upgraded 14/14 will be locked until the player reaches Chaos Trial IV. 

5. After floor 35 the player will always face 2 maps. Lost Temple will always be the 2nd map. 

6. The player will no longer go back to floor 1. They will keep in their current floor. If they choose to proceed at floor 40 they will have to prestige again. This will happen every 5 floors above 35.

7. After 5 Ancient Powers or Floor 55 a new mutator will be added to each lane. This will happen every 5 AP up to 5 mutators per lane. 

8. Having a friend playing with you will no longer make mobs stronger on Onslaught.

9. Players that are above floor 35 after the system change will gain Ancient Power according to the floor they were on. The amount of Ancient Power gained will be based on the number of floors above 65. I propose 1 AP for every  5 floors above 65 that the player did. Someone at floor 115 will gain 10 Ancient Power after the change and moved to floor 85 where he can choose to prestige again.

10. Players that already have Ancient Power will be moved to the floor they should be on. A player with 10 AP will be moved to floor 85.

11. The difficult will be changed to keep the proportion between floor 55 as it is right now and floor 35 after the change.


Multiplayer Focused Content


1. A new game mode that can only be played with 4 people. A matchmaking system.

2. I propose 5 new maps with 8 ground lanes and 4 flying lanes.

3. The lanes are going to be connect to the center of the map where only 1 core will stand. 

4. 4 of the ground lanes will have random enemies with mutators like Onslaught but no bosses. The mutators and enemies can be changed every round ( i am not sure about that part ). The other 4 ground lanes will spawn only bosses over the course of the wave. This way the 4 players can choose to use the DU wisely to build against bosses or mob lanes. They will have to face the lane they didn't build with hero damage. 

5. Only players with at least 4 heroes above 6000 ipwr can participate. 

6. The DU will be shared between the 4 players. It won't be possible to drop crystals ( DU ).

7. A player can be kicked before the game starts. If this happens it won't be possible to start the game until a new player arrives.

8. This game mode will give more exp and gold with a small chance for rare or unique rewards from chests like gold pets, defender packs, flairs.


Fundamental Changes and Fixes


1. DD 2 has plenty of bugs but 2 of them are bothering us the most. Fix mobs getting stuck on spawn zones. Fix the glitched party system.

2. We need a proper tutorial for new players or at least an encyclopedia of mobs and their weakness. The new tutorial would have a 5 minutes video showing a staff member building the chaos map and explaining a little of the trial. If the encyclopedia option is chosen a new hotkey will be selected to open the book in game with all the knowledge of enemies.

3. This one has been said over and over again for the past 2 years. Geodes will no longer reflect projectiles, instead they will absorb it up to a certain amount ( similar to bullet sponge mutator ). Cyborks will no longer sniper traps, instead they will make friendly units resistent to trap damage and nullify the trap in a small circular area around him. EMP will no longer aim for towers, instead they will explode when dead in a larger area dealing damage and nullifying towers ( only towers ). Cyborks and Geodes will never spawn in the same lane, not even 1.


Making Profit Great Again


I know TE is a company. You guys need to pay employees, servers and get something out of it. I propose the following:

1. Gear Pack. For a certain amount of diamonds you get a complete gear pack for you character according to his current gear score ( similar do Shard Pack ).

2. Premium Defender. For a certain amount of diamonds you get a boost pack with 100% exp and gold increase for a month. I recommend to nerf the gold and exp boost that is possible to get from AP.

If you guys decide to make it available for Defender Medals i propose 4000 for gear pack and 12000 premium defender.


We Want Them On Our Side Of The Wall.


To bring back old player i recommend the following:

1. Spam. That's it? That's my solution? Nah. Spam mail will be necessary so players know about the changes and can decide to come back.

2. Returning prizes. Hah, see, there's always something more. The player that returns to the game after 1 month will gain 1 Vault space, 1 golden pet, 3000 defender medals and 1 month of Premium Defender.

Although I'm kinda seeing DD2 currently having a certain teensy aspect of Pay-to-win......

How can you do Mastery without Mystic to make Obelisks in no blockade maps? You already need some heroes to progress. How about playing without Dryad atm? It sure is possible but will make life hard as hell. I mean is that a pay to win?  Of course you can get them with defender medals and i propose the same for those two new money grabbers. Besides it's a way to keep people playing, after you spend 12000 defender medals in something i believe you'll play until it's over. At least veteran players like us don't have much use for defender medals. We used them on defender packs like some casino, might as well apply them on boost packs.


Being honest tho i don't think we need to worry about it. Probably nothing will be add and Lawlta will be the only one to read it. Hi Lawlta

I actually read this post and replies....then got to the part where someone said that probably only Lawlta would read this. Only a very few remember him. I do miss his dev streams....and then I read the ,"5 years later" notation....thought somebody was having input that was useful. Should have known better when upfront, the poster was addressing Trendy and not Chromatic
