My fave was the original series. Grew up on it. That and GI Joe. It was a reason to not get into trouble, because they both came on right after school. Put the right carrot on the stick...LOL. Go-bots ruled too, if anyone here is old enough and nerdy enough to know what that show was. Man, I was so late to the party! Got into the franchise though 2007 Michael Bay's Transformers at 2007.Then I start watching Beast Wars at 2008...And I didn't finish season 2 and the entire season 3 until 2014......holy! I love that Gen-Xers and getting to the age where the directors and producers of movies and shows coming out are all the stuff from my childhood in the early 80s and 90s. That first Transformers movie was incredible to see one of my fave cartoons of all time, and fave toy lines ( I had so many of these), brought to life. GI Joe too. I was so happy. Transformers has so jumped the shark now, as that last movie was god awful, but so what. You make a movie about giant robots - and i am there. I have been conditioned since a child to hold giant robots in pure awe. And giant monsters. I can' wait for some more obscure stuff from that time period to catch on again - like: Krull, Dune, Megaforce, Go-bots, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Inhumanoids, Grabage Pail Kids, etc... Wow i just dated myself hardcore. Wait...that sounds wrong. Dinner first.

I still love the movie series even if peeps think it's god awful, always waited in good anticipation for the next movie after I watch them in theaters. In fact that's the only movies me and the rest of my family must see at theaters even when it's financially tight, except for my mother though, she doesn't like this stuffs (yes, I just revealed that I'm young...)I do have quite a number of the toylines too, too bad they're in storage due to space issues...And yeah, you're hardcore indeed lol. I normally stick to just one to two franchises haha

I normally stick to just one to two franchises haha I grew up in the age of comics, cartoons, video games, and toys where all of it was on like super turbo. Age of commercialism in its prime and fully embraced by all. I just loved it. So much great stuff for kids. I have a ton of the toys still too though. Only recently has some of the cartoons from that age been released on DVD finally. Hard to get copies of some of these shows. I do love some of the new stuff too from now. Given my love of giant robots and monsters - Pacific Rim was juts one of the freaking coolest movies ever in that regard. Godzilla vs. Transformers (or Robotech, or Voltron, or Power Rangers, or...etc.) I cannot wait for the sequel next month. God i wish we were getting a Hellboy 3 from Guillermo instead of a reboot...too bad.

Great call-out!!!!! I am excited for that as well. The Kong reboot movie was okay, but that Godzilla reboot was amazing to me. I can't wait for the sequel with Mothra and King Ghidorah. Best reboot of that franchise i have seen in ages. The Shin Godzilla movie was pretty cool, but that last remake was just so good. I still am mad at that last time they did it back in the 90's with Matthew Broderick. God that sucked. Thank heavens that Godzilla got some love finally, the right way. Wow Didn't know it was that way. I only did partially watch the Matthew Broderick version (I really didn't know it was horrible haha), and the awesome 2014 reboot. And the Japanese version of Godzilla 2000.Really gotta try to watch Shin Godzilla, got it, but didn't watch it yet. I heard the Godzilla had some insane power in the movie. Shin was indeed not like most of the JP versions of the franchise. *slight spoilers ahead*Godzilla began as a pupae and morphed into his full version, all while in the city. That was something new to the series. It also had the most realistic reactions to the events - as in what the people and government actually do. *Spoiler END*While it was a bunch or big monster fun, it just lacked any heart. That was what 2014 Godzilla had in spades that made it so much better IMO. Same reason i love the 1985 Godzilla sequel (US version). I felt it had so much heart at the end of the movie. I remember as a kid, it was the first movie i cried to. It touched me, and not in that "show me where on the bear" way. The reboot from the 90s is not bad movie per se, its just a bad "Godzilla" movie. Same as "The Spirits Within" is not a bad movie, but a terrible Final Fantasy movie. Change the title of either - now its okay. Franchise names come with expectations... Then you have stinkers like the live Dragonball movie...WTF happened there? So close to getting a great anime into a quality movie. i am excited to watch the new live FMA on Netflix that just came out.

Jaws_420 959 Posted March 1, 2018 I had a loss in the family. Very sad. Never wait to tell the people you care about that you love them. You never know when you will not get another chance. Hopefully all of us will find the peace we looked for on Earth in the next plane, and leave all of the pain of life behind. Especially those who carry a great weight. The rest of us, as survivors, need to learn how to struggle on and carry our own weight, find our own peace in this life. Here is hoping that you all find the peace you are looking for. “Nothing can bring you peace but yourself.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson
