Oooo i so hope its not just one but two heroes, looking forward to hack and slash king like the barb and a technical mobile suit like the man machine, though crystalline hero or ork would be a fun hero also

They were asking for ideas for new heroes, so let's have some fun and brainstorm some here. 


Idea: Ninja, with physical crowd control abilities. Maybe even more fun if not human, Gobu Ninja! 

P. Weapon - chain and scythe that can swing around them damaging multiple enemies at once in an AOE. 

S. Weapon - blowgun that fire a single dart that can poison an enemy for 10 sec, slow fire rate and 30% chance to poison

Abilities - 1) smoke bomb - become invisible (and undetectable - even to assassins)  and next attack is 5000% DMG, however every sec in stealth mode drains mana at an increased speed the longer it is used; 2) scorpion hook - Ninja throws his scythe and sticks it into an enemy and drags them to their location, moving enemies away from defenses or into the path of tower fire; 3) meditate - much like healing a tower, the ninja can select a tower and perform a tower stat boost to it but must stay in range and doing so drains mana, 4) mana boost - ninja glows and all mana collected while glowing is X2 (only works during battle phase and on dropped mana from enemies). 

Towers - 1) Lilly Pad - a green lily pad on a tall stem for the ninja to hide under, while under the pad the ninja cannot attack but also cannot be targeted by bosses, air units or assassins, 2) Star Wheel -  a wooden wheel filled with shuriken that fire out from it as it spins, shoots in a 360 degree pattern (i.e. ground and air) as a physical AOE with very limited range but with a very high fire rate, 3) Katana Thrower -  a sword in a catapult, for aerial units to do heavy damage on a slow fire rate to a single target, immune to storm damage with a high DU cost, 4) Bag of Tacks - a mortar type tower that shoot up and over your blockade and does AOE damage on the ground, and leaves small tacks that slow and damage units that walk across the area for 3 sec.

Maybe i am alone on this whole new hero idea...oh well, won't stop me. I already dreamed up one more, so i will post it as well. I like the Man machine idea (@Uchihia), so Idea #2.

Idea: Manbot 2.0, from the future, uses technology that appears to be magic to the castle defenders

P. Weapon – laser sword, the midi-chlorians have spoken, he is the one…

S. Weapon – Missile Launcher, shoots a large missile that does large damage, but moves very, very slow

Abilities - 1) Gundammit – fires a large piercing chest laser straight forward, can blow up the S. Weapon missile with it; 2) Iron Men– drops a chrome version of himself as a blockade, used to hold enemy lines when a blockade tower fails, limited health but can drop multiple ones, large DU cost; 3) Boomstick– pulls out a shotgun for quick blast of AOE dmg with a very limited range; 4) My other car's a tank (MOCAT) – turns into a tank and runs over grunts for big damage, not useful against bosses but pushes them back, and a very short run time.

Towers - 1) Stargate – a portal you must construct in two different places on the map, but once done allows you to instantly teleport between the two locations at will by walking through it, works with projectiles, and it constantly drains a lot of tower life during battle phase; 2) 2001 – a large back obelisk blockade, does no damage but hurls bones out that enemies will chase and aggro away from the tower for a short time; 3) BMFG – a single large cannon with very narrow but long range, single shot, high damage, and high DU, ground only; 4) Screamers – small digging low hp robots come out of the tower and borough underground towards enemies, while underground they cannot be damaged, and then they pop up and attack single enemies, also can cause frightened condition which causes enemies to turn around and head towards their portal for 5 sec, and once unburied enemies can attack and destroy them.

Got an Idea too.

Talonguard of the Light and Darkness.

An elite talonguard that stumbled into the unholy catacombs discovers a dark secret within : three unholy gems that contains the spirits of the original spectral knights. Those knights attempts to corrupt him by fusing them within him but the talonguard's experiance with magic and his unwavering loyalty to Dragonfall is what kept him on the path of light. And thus, he is now, forevermore, the Talonguard of the Light and Darkness, Guardian of the Unholy Fire.

Primary Weapon : Spear (For the Talonguard to use)

Alternate Primary Weapon : Dark Spear (For the Guardian to use)

Primary attacks : stab, slash, thrust and other usual melee attacks

Secondary attacks : conjures magic spears/javelins to throw.

Unlike the Dryad, he turns to his other form by an ability. Neither form affect each other in ways like the dryad though it does affect at some point. It's like a 2 in 1 Hero, you can play either hero as long as you want. Though that will need to be like 8 relic slots and no shards that makes this hero does other hocus pocus stuff.

The Talonguard looks exactly like a talonguard and is is mostly light silver and gold, with bits of blue stripes. 

The Guardian, of course still looks like a talonguard too but is mostly black and brown (wood texture) with some orange parts. Unholy flames burns at the orange parts similar to the Ebonfire Warlord squire costume or the Dark Arts apprentice costume.

Abilities *as Talonguard*  

(1) Spear Empowerment : The tip of the Talonguard's Spear will radiate magical  power that triples the ability power damage that last for X-Y seconds in primary and secondary attacks. Cooldown for x-y seconds

(2) Au shimmers : When activated, Au shimmers is deployed as drone attacks. Shimmers does heals you and other heroes. There is a maximum limit of 4 shimmers. The UI shows each shimmer's health as they can be destroyed, ability mana can be used to replaced the one destroyed.

(3) Halberd Barrage : When activated a barrage of halberd will explode out of him, They oils and explodes upon contact

(4) Turns to the Guardian of the Unholy Fire.

Defense towers *as Talonguard*

(1) Boiling Oil tower : Very similar to the trap in the Ramparts. 

(2) Firework Cannon : An anti-air cannon that's pointing to the sky. Shoot's gold elegant rockets that explode at flyers. Kobolts and Kobold Gliders will immediately detonate mid-air when in contact with rockets.

(3) Axe Blockade : A blockade as wide as a spike blockade with three axes (prestigious looking) in the front as well as a helm on the top.

(4) The Crown : A  30 - 50 DU pedestal with a crown on the top. It connect the other three defense into the ultimate lane defense system/one entire tower. It have the dragonface at the boiling oil tower shoots flames like a flameburst tower and it turns the Firework cannon into a AA AND a ground defense. Plus, the Axe blockade will be able to knock enemies back. Tower's range and speed will be increased.

Abilities as *The Guardian of the Unholy Fire*

(1) Power of the Red Spectral Knight : The Guardian's eyes glows red as  half of the Red Spectral Knight (armed with a Spear) rises out of him but the Guardian is still encased in the spectral knight. Whatever the Guardian does, the red knight follows (like a shadow).  When the Guardian does his primary attack, the red knight's spear attack fires bulky beams of magical flame. As the his secondary attack the spear will fire magical fire balls. (last for x amount of seconds)

(2) Power of the Purple Spectral Knight : The Guardian's eyes glows purple as half of the Purple Spectral knight rises out if him encasing the Guardian. As usual, whatever the guardian does, the knight shadows. The Purple knight is armed with unholy skulls. During primary attack, the skulls will spew flames out like a flamethrower. For it's secondary attack, it'll continuously spin 360 and spewing flames but at a short range. (last for x amount of seconds)

(3) Power of the Green Spectral Knight : The Guardian's eyes glows green as half of the Green Spectral knight rises out of the Guardian encasing him. This time, the Guardian does no attacks and is unarmed. It's main purpose is healing turning the Guardian intangible to his enemies. (cough* assassins will not be able to affect him* cough). The Guardian will not be able to attack in this state.

(4) Reverts back to the Talonguard.

Defense towers *as the Guardian of the Unholy Fire*

Red Unholy Fire Shield : A Tower with a wicked lookin' Shield that spews red unholy fire that deals red unholy fire damage

Purple Unholy Fire Shield : Another Tower with a wicked lookin' Shield that spews  purple unholy fire that deals purple unholy fire damage.

Green Unholy Fire Shield : Third tower with a wicked lookin' shield that spews green unholy fire that deals green unholy fire damage.

The Unholy Gems : A wicked looking pedestal that looks similar to a Skyguard tower that has 3 gems (red, purple and green) infused within it. When connected with the three shield it become a 360 ground defense and the tower can only be destroyed by destroying the pedestal which has moderate health.

Notes

When there's two or one defense connected to a pedestal it will not become a single tower. Have to be three for that to work.

New hero Ric Flair's #4 ability...the Wooooo nuke. Destroys everything on the screen including all your defenses. 30 second cool down.

Wandering samurai


Full DPS hero


Primary Weapon : Katana

Secondary : advanced guard (block incoming attacks)


Has the ability to control the elements


High Damage melee hero with low health


Ability 1 : Earth wall (forms an impassable wall of stone out of the ground for x seconds)

Ability 2 : find weakness (gain x% to crit chance for x duration)

Ability 3 : wind strikes ( gain x% attack speed and knock enemies up every 3rd hit. Duration of 10 seconds)

Ability 4 : dragon strike (imbue your katana with fire and perform a wide sweep in front of you igniting enemies)

Ability 5 : lightning dash (peforms a dash a long distances piercing all enemies for x amount damage while reaching his destination)

Ability 6 : tsunami ( surround yourself in a water aura slowing and drenching nearby enemies for x time)

Ability 7 : thunderous blow ( summons a bolt of lightning after swinging your katana stunning all enemies in a small area in front of you)

Ability 8 : cloud surf (can mount a nimbus which heals him and increasing his movement speed by x% while on it)


Feedback on this hero or possible changes that would make his abilities a bit more diverse

I like the style per say, but I still had more of a full human character, although the spectre samurai does come off cool, and would be a nice touch to add some extra damage as a secondary equip (kind of like a squire shield has armor and hp), it could add some elemental damage of each type for a legendary or could have one dedicated to hero damage and crit or ability power and crit, just raw damage. To add more detail to what type of equip t would be, it would just be a special imbuing of sorts.
