Any solo improvements on CDT Update 3?

Hey there, I took a break for a couple months trying other games while waiting for CDT Update 3 to be released, so stayed away from forum/reddit discussions during that time.

Since I am not an expert at analyzing patch notes, I would just like to ask if there are any improvements on solo play on the CDT Update 3, for example will soloing NM content become easier with this patch or more challenging than it already is? Same for quality of life improvements, anything worth mentioning for a solo player like me?

I don't think the final patch notes are out, yet. Just the final trial/test branch of the patch is released.

There are plenty of much needed QoL changes, and some bug-fixes. As for solo gameplay on NMHC, I don't think it changes much other than the fact that now Deadly Strike Tower is somewhat more usable and better than it has ever been before. Embermount solo players will get some much needed breathing space with the reducing in the amount of copters that spawn in the final boss wave. But since this is pretty much an end-game map I don't think you'd feel it becoming easy, yet.

From the top of my head I don't recall much about solo players and any specific benefits we'd get, I'm a soloist myself. You can always go through the patch notes as they evolved:
