Does our equipment get reset every single time we get the ancient power?

So typically each match takes 15min if you're fast (Assuming you already have the best gear available). we have 65 floors per reset. 15*65 = 975min or 16.25 hours. If we do have to farm for gear to get pass some level that would take like a shyt load more time than just 16 hours. I don't see any players getting anywhere near 10 resets if that's the case. Feels like there's totally no incentive at all for resetting then since most players who does reset will probably quit the game half way through at low ascension levels, and i would be one of the top players in the game for not resetting.

ya'll need to be quiet about this and reset already lol. The reset experience is literally the best I've had in dd2 since a long time, grinding c7 is incredibly boring and pushing floors in onslaught has its limits. No, you're not gonna be the guy with the highest ascension if you keep playing with your normal +0% exp bonus because people will catch up when enough bonuses are accumulated.

But to get back to your actual question, the answer is yes.

presumably it is not possible to reach floor 114 (I think that's the floor that give you flairs) without resetting and increasing your ancient power and ascension caps.  if it's possible then I guess they should make higher rewards for higher floors since resetting is all about increasing your power.

You forget about 2 and 3 maps in one floor and after 59 lvl all floors have 3 maps. So it's take more time in theory, on practice it's time even longer time.

And if I'm not mistaken with based on what I heard, it will be 5 maps once you reached 60-something-th floor.
