Over 80 matches with no deadly strikes drops :/

All shards have the same drop rate right?

You are playing C3 right?

I always played C4 to get a guaranteed C4 shard which could be Defence rate or Power transfer, and the chance of a lower, which sometimes is a a C3, which could be a Deadly Strikes.

Then I bought C3 shard packs with the medals, until I had enough.

But if you have loads of Rate and Transfer then yes just grind C3, and buy shard packs.

yup c3. I kinda need more deadly strikes than power transfer, though i wouldn't mind for more power transfer. Maybe I"ll do c4 soon. Gotta take a break from these heavy grinding before doing it again. It's really boring :P

that's just unfortunate really, but there are also like 25 shards in c3, which means you have 1/25 chance to get a deadly strikes shard. If you're familiar with how rng works, you'd also know that there's a good chance to get none in a much higher number than 25 shards.

It's a grind/gamble so just farm a lot more and keep your streak up as it does a lot for you.

I don't think I ever got a Deadly Strikes shard to drop from C3. I farmed the hell out of it. I finally got all my Deadly Strikes shards from taking the DMs I got farming C3 and buying shard packs.

I do not believe that all shards have the same drop rate. Not to mention there are issues with drops. I have opened the chaos 3 pack and received campaign, C1, C2, and even c4 shards in the pack that is supposed to only have c3. Even of the c3 shards that drop in the c3 specific shard pack it doesn't take long to see the pattern of what shards drop the most.

They should actually. I saw my bro getting 2 deadly strikes right beside me on a single match lol

I've gotten 3 deadly strikes shards from a single 5-pack that i bought with defender medals. And i've seen at least 1 other person also post a screen shot of getting 3 deadly strikes in one 5 pack.

I got my first deadly strike at around ascension 200... and that's cause I bought a shard pack...  =/

Usually I get one either when I buy around 2000 defender medals worth of packs or when I'm not trying after a chaos that's not C3. I don't have the one pack luck with shards I want like deadly strikes and frosty beams.

Yes because the drop rates are not the same and they rarely drop 

I'm still not convinced that drop rates are equal across the board, but if they are,then you have a 94.5‰ chance to get it out of 80 drops.

Which also means that we expect 1 out of 20 people playing to not get it in 80 drops.  So I'd also expect people to come on to the forums and complain about it.  Which means that it's a poor game design by Trendy, though we've discussed this before (and of course I'm not arguing with you, I think we largely agree that shard drops need to be altered in some way, I'm just extending the conclusions of your probability statement).

Are we still discussing how RNG works in this thread?

this, there's even a chance that you don't get one in 200 and obviously that person will come to the forums and complain yet I stand here getting 2 deadly strikes/pt's/critdamage in 10 consecutive runs.
