Hotfix 1.2.1

Greetings Defenders,

We are rolling out a hotfix to address some issues and make some changes after the release of our most recent update. This will be seen on PC right away, and will be coming to consoles at a later date after certification.

Changes

  • Xbox One has had damage flashes turned off by default for split-screen. This is to alleviate a display issue some users experience.

  • “All Lanes Open” star description now lists “Barricades” instead of “Blockades”.

  • Changed the reverb settings in both Sewers maps, improving the echo effect.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where players could sell Hyper Shards after unequipping them.

  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One where the progress bar would run off screen during split-screen.

  • Fixed an issue with Shadowflame Dagger was not moving correctly.

  • Fixed an issue on the Start Menu when a splitscreen player leaves and some HUD elements would not display correctly.

  • Fixed an issue in Ramparts Chaos II where Chaos II shards were not dropping from the Victory Chest.

  • Fixed an issue with North Pole’s damage calculation.

  • Fixed an issue in split screen where when both players would receive the random shard pack reward at the same time and the shards listed were incorrect for the second player

We are currently working on getting the other issues that you have presented us taken care of, but wanted to get these out as fast as possible. Thank you for all your feedback, it has been incredibly helpful!

love your game finding it hardto find groups for mastery and it really upsets me that after most are done we'll prob never get another chance can u make a system where each week it get slightly easier so that even if i cant find a group i'll be able to solo them eventually

I'm in the same boat. I'm in two Xbox One DD2 clubs. One is dead and the other has over 2,500 plus members, but I rarely get anyone to play Mastery with...... I try to get the challenges done before the next mastery, but it's not fun and gets stressful. Half the time people can't read a challenge and most people don't have mics..... I agree to make challenges easier each week.

If i were you I would focus on getting to Chaos 7 farm gear levels first. Then start mastery, I have solo'ed all maps pretty easily, however I do have all the heroes so annoying achievements like no more then 1 of each towers is easier as are many other achievements.
What you can do is cherry pick the maps you try, to obtain enough points for the hypershards, and then move onto more challenging maps after. Also focus your Medal spending on new heroes, being able to use more then just the base 4 is really important. The female apprentice has arguably the best AA for mastery for example, cheaper and better at dealing with kobolds then the SGT counter part.
