[Bug] Game is too zoomed in to play.

So this just happened today:

When I log into the game it is too zoomed in to play. I can't even get to the get to the settings screen to try to change it because it is off screen. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game with no luck. Any advice would be appreciated!

Ohh....wow did not know that this problem could randomly be either in serious or mild shape, as for one of the players in this forum had a complete re-install that fixed the problem. And as for me it took just a game restart to fix it.

I've already done a restart and reinstall with no luck. :(

Right click DD2 > properties in the Steam UI

Select the Local Files tab

Click the Browse local files button

folder opens

click dundef2 > UDKGame > Config

Delete all files that start with UDK (they will be recreated when DD2 starts again)

Click dundef2 > Binaries > DunDefConfig (there will be an error just click OK)

Click on GFX\Sound and make sure the resolution is set to a sensible value

Click Save

Restart your PC

I just had this today and fixed it by setting

ScreenMode=2
ResString=1920x1080

in UDKOptions.ini.local.ini

and then in [SystemSettings] in UDKEngine.ini

Set fullscreen and fullscreenwindowed to false
