This is my first event so I'm a bit confused: will we be able to bring over the event items into Ranked later?

You play the special event map on open with an event host.  After you finish playing, the event host will invite you to a separate game on ranked and trade you the event item(s).

When the map link will be released ?

And as always as there are a few first-timers for this event, here are few tips/tricks/must-knows on how to run the event:

• Download the map and test it out in OPEN MODE once whether it works for you or not. 
  
  
• Then, join the group chat on this group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/PcCommunityEventsGroup Refer to the following image in case you do not know how to join group chats -- http://i.imgur.com/doy0RYF.png
  
  
• Then restart the game and go into OPEN MODE(but don't load into any map/lobby) and wait for an Event Host to call you up if they have a spot free.
  
  
• Event Hosts can be identified by a silver or golden  besides their name in the members list in the group chat left side.
  
  
• If you wish to use your existing gear from RANKED MODE in OPEN MODE, you can do so by exporting your data.
  
  
• In case you do not know how to export your RANKED data to OPEN/LOCAL, please watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dMLRXbbrk24&t=16
  
  
• If you don't have good enough gear, then you can use this mod to gear up on OPEN MODE as it is allowed officially: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=572136953

Apologies to my team - My PC was having a bad day and i was not very helpful. I may try it again tomorrow if there is a spare slot sometime.

The time and effort you all put in to making this game great is really appreciated by the community.

Is there any way I can get a run through the event this coming weekend? This past weekend I tried to make it on Friday but logged in at 10pm EST and the runs were over. I've been working 70+ hours a week for the past couple months so I have limited time to play. I could hop on early in the morning depending. I tried to run the event map by myself and I cant even last 4 seconds ><
