Can we get some better Matchmaking/Game Creation?

Farming shards you need is important, so keeping those consecutive runs are a nice addition to help with that.

However the Matchmaking in this game is horrible, and sometimes makes keeping those consecutive streaks hard to keep, and completely out of your control.

Playing in a Private game is completely fine, and works exactly how you expect it too.

But hosting and playing a Public game is where theres a major problem.

Hosting a public game with a title and a set ascension level means nothing after the 1st game, you go in to the 2nd game and its all reset, im now doing c7 with 2 people with no ascensions levels at all... why? When the ascension level was set? This information should be carried over into the following games.

Also, sometimes I duo with a friend in public games, but a lot of times we continue into the next match(even while being partied) and the matchmaking has split us up into different games... why?

Finally, the most annoying thing, if I host a public game and continue on, I expect to stay as a host until i leave, not be randomly match made into a game where someone else has already started and as soon as people join they immediately lose... now losing all those consecutive streaks and the loss was completely out of my hands.

I know people can say "Well if you don't want to lose those streaks then stay in private" but the thing is, i should not be forced to have to play privately to achieve this. I should be able to play publicly with others without the issues listed above.

I 100% agree with this. I don't know why this wasn't set in stone from the beginning. Playing public is a virus right now

Good news! Matchmaking and the Party system are a big focus for the next major update! Most of these concerns should be fixed in the update. More news soon!

I completely agree that matchmaking needs work, infact the whole MP game mode needs reworking in my opinion. I would appreciate a suggested ascension lvl for tiers as well as setting the level to work past the first game. I do not like how the matching will fill matches after a match and can put you in any existing  match  If you find a team you like playing with we should get the opportunity to stick with them.  I would really like Trendy to ditch the scaling in MP matches even with the lower 25% per additional player it still makes it very difficult for those in that tier of gear to build and support 4 players. I would much prefer the DD1 model of extra mobs/bosses instead. Please Trendy while you look at matchmaking also consider how scaling works as well please ty.
