My opinion on the current version of the game.

This is definitely one thing I will agree with you on. I really can't stand the amount of people who do this. NM4 PDT was also pretty bad. So was using Drenching Ramsters and the Lightning Aura to perma-shock enemies. I wasn't really into either of those builds and I managed fine in NM4 using Fire.

I am starting to believe that raising the Defense Critical Damage Power scalars was a pretty bad call and this tower brought out the worst of it. It also didn't help they nerfed the Huntress and Lavamancer trap range either, when the only trap that needed a range nerf was Snaking Sands. The Dryad is the only one left unaffected, but all her stuff has problems working right now (Nimbus get stuck and expensive, Slimes don't acquire targets fast, etc.)

The only map people don't do Weapon Manufacturer abuse is Nimbus Reach, even though it is possible to do it and I have seen it done twice. But even then, there is the alternative to this: The Flame Aura with PDTs.

Sure, but instead of fixing stuff, they're faster to downright nerf whatever is working. :P 

First, If they nerfed traps during the frosty meta, I literally would of cried... It was literally the ONLY viable build for NM4 back then... Gah, don't get me started on the balance back then... and people complain the game is hard NOW >.>

Secondly... Do not mention the word nerf around Trendy... [[4370,users]] still needs to find a better hiding place for the balance teams sledge hammers. I mean storm gloves got literally gutted to less than 4% of their release power. 4%...

Lastly... If you think farming C7 with WMs is boring... I hate to break it to you, but if you nerf WMs, it doesn't really make farming C7 any more exciting. Farming Chaos X with Chaos X gear will always be boring and easy after you've done it 100 times. Then you just get bored farming Chaos X with a different tower. We just need to wait for an actual long-term game mode, or to make your own entertainment (I.e. playing with all the viable non-meta builds).

Seems kinda pointless to just expect Trendy to buff and nerf different towers every week. Or even worse, have them keep adding 20 more chaos tiers of the same never ending grind cycle that feels the same in pretty much every tier...

There some really long lasting annoyances that Trendy can't seem to shake, but aside from that, at the current state I feel the game can take off or flop.  Looking forward to see what/how Trendy expands on the current system.

Trials are fun and all but boy do I remember some good times hardcore grinding away in DD1.  Are campaign maps going to open up to Chaos difficultly with corresponding rewards?

TBH , i've play 100hours (reaching c3) , then i bough DD1 to my GF yesterday due the lack of gamemode in DD2 , ofc i still start DD2 once a day for daily quest and for have fun , (and i still have a lot of fun in DD2 ofc) , but we need some update IMO (but ikr they already work hard on the game i don't have any doubt about that.)

But yeah , playing DD2 i've the feeling to said all day long "i wish they add XXXXXX like in DD1".

Exactly , i've play 100h at DD2 and i've reinstal DD1 :/
(the camera in DD1 is horrible , I had forgotten that xD).
