Is Gunwitch still gear broken?

I love using her as a CC train with AP DPS, but I've seen that gearing people up and using her as a main makes getting relics really difficult. Is this still a thing or has it been fixed?

She cant use or get relics, its a reason people farms with her and also working as intended.

why is it intendet that she cant get relics? thas seems like a pretty flawed logic
only because i want to play her as my active hero does not mean i dont have to build with the others when i play solo

and being punished if u enjoy the gunwitch as active hero by not being able to progress since u dont get relic upgrades seems kinda stupid

do u enjoy playing the gunwitch? yes? well then congrats ur now stuck at whatever chaos tier ur at
do u enjoy any other hero? yes? well congrats u can play the hero u like as active hero and still progress

so the takeaway is if u want to play the gunwitch get c7 max gear first then u dont need to get relics anyway...

That's the reason that I was wondering if it was fixed or not. Just because GW doesn't use relics doesn't mean I don't want relics for my builders to scale into the next chaos tier. 

Would like to see a fix for this too. 

I'm pretty sure that as long as you have another hero equipped in your deck that you will still get relics... They fixed it a couple months back i think.

Meanwhile 75% or so of the loot dropped is based on you playing with GW, so you are gimping most of your chances to find medallion upgrades.

Plus you are getting weapon drops from that hero as well, which you might don't want at all.

Yea playing as a Gunwitch hurts. I loved all the skills and boss cc but the relics rarely drop. Some maps I wont see a single relic others ill see 1-2 relics. Takes me 4 or 5 times longer to move up each tier just because of the tower relics not droping.
