The Fluffy Toaster 0 Posted April 5, 2017 There are many problems with the assassins but there are 2 major ones in my opinion.1) They get rid of half of the game. The thing that made these games great was that they were action rpg/tower defense games. When you throw an unreasonable amount of assassins at heroes, it turns into just standing in front of your towers and hoping your defenses hold up. You can't attack and you can't repair during waves because you are constantly disabled by the assassins. I've had times where every other enemy is dead including bosses, but I still have 5 assassins left. It forces people to play like they are using an afk build. This is not fun.2) It limits the number of hero builds you can use at higher difficulties. You NEED hero health as a stat on pretty much all of your armor pieces or you die very quickly from the assassins. This means you only have one stat you can use to benefit your active hero playstyle. You can no longer use cool hybrid builds like hero damage/crit because you have to only pick one of those to use since the other spot is taken by health. Not that it matter since you are barely attacking in chaos v anyways.
Haui 0 Posted April 6, 2017 You are totally right+ if they get near core -> instant lose + you get teleported/kicked when jump, sometimes near coreC5 hero build is all about assassins, and its boring because i can do nothing else

Uchihia 0 Posted April 6, 2017 every c5 game ive experienced so far is simply standing next to a wall waiting for assassins to get stunned then kill them one after the other with the smallest margin of time to look at my other defences if they are oki, is it me or do they recover health when you die because that just annoying frustrating since i barely manage to kill them and the drops in c5 are so few and resources like gold i so scarce that i really makes it impossible.... maybe that is the challenge :/
Tiamata 0 Posted April 6, 2017 Even after getting super geared, the vast majority of my time in C5 is spent sitting in my kill zone waiting for assassins to die instead of actually PLAYING the game. Even when assassins are reduced to being easy due to being geared, they still reduce the game to "sit in front of your kill box", which has got to be one of the stupidest most boring ways to play a game ever. kingoftime2013 0 Posted April 6, 2017 I agree I dont enjoy the assassins becuase there are so many and they limit you for the whole wavethe assassins should be a threat for a short time instead in my opinion.Another special mob that I think need to change is the geode. They should absorb projectile damage and not reflect it.Same as the cyborks - they dont destory your core/defences when you use traps against them. You DO get punished for using the certain defences but at least you can try and have fun!
