Old bags to new 64 slot bags

Being a hoarder I went and bought all useful bags and I am currently sitting on 9 bags. Now other people have 10 bags, and apparently the last bag is for that pet bag (more room for useless stuff). If all bags were scaled up then why is a pet bag worth +64 slots? 
1) i see this as best case we get that extra bag.
2) we can buy the last bag for the same price as the "pet bag"
3) worst case we buy a 64 slot bag that's worth more than the previous values.
In any case could there be an option to get that max bag slot... There isn't one at this time

How do they get 10 bags? I got max bags before this patch (15bags). I still have 9 bags with no option to purchase that tenth bag.

The max bags before the update was 16. To get the 10th bag, you needed to have all 16 bags and a maxed pet bag when the update hit.

The 10th bag is currently unobtainable, and Trendy has decided to keep it as a "legacy" perk for either a very long time or forever. I'm pretty sure it was this stream where they said as much: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/127745923

Old bags were not scaled up to 64 slots. The new number of bags comes from taking the total number of slots you had, including pet slots, dividing by 64 and rounding up.

I wish they would have warned us because I totally would have invested the gems to buy pet space for that 10th bag.

Ty Calm, Found it at 26min. Prob come back to it in 2 years once they're done fixing the save profiles. 
Legacy items should be costumes or unique toys which can be purchased for a limited time, not something that everybody wants. The take away is: a max pet bag which was a useless accessory is worth a whole bag.

I put that as option 2, make the bag available at the old prices. I'm hoping this creates a movement.

And I'd likely have bought the inventory pack.  Now I won't give Trendy that money, as a protest.

I also very much would like the option for more bags... Perhaps add it to the inventory pack, because the value you get for it is kinda meh anyways...

Actually, I don't get why it's a one-time buy only. If someone wants to get 20 inventory packs, and actually pay for that, then that seems like a great deal for both Trendy and the community.

But again, the prices are a bit steep atm imho.
