Help! Old player coming back for awhile.

Hey so I'm from back in the closed beta, things.. have changed. I've really only come back once to see a "new" hero the necromancer guy and got him. I'm back and suddenly everyone is max level? The UI and everything looks really different and confusing but I'll hope I can adjust to it. 

I decided to restart and delete all my characters except for my ranger and sold pretty much everything mystical and below because It was way too cluttered and I had like 4 bags full of them. So I restarted the Necro guy and suddenly my main "wall" has 30k+ hp?!? This isn't right? Right? surely you don't start with 30k hp walls and 500 hp on char. Whats the deal with this? Can I fix it? bring it back to normal somehow? I really just want to get into the feel of the game afresh.

Well if I were you I think I gonna read all patch notes. They changed thing a lot. Now wall in endgame gear can have almost 3m hp at lvl 1. Maybe watch youtube. It's not easy to catch up what it is right now. There are no Nightmare mode > only Chaos.
Also It's right lvl 1 with no stat can have 30k hp. It's normal xD

holy crap what happened?! XD dang powercreep is real! I can't stand to read so much patch notes :P Well thanks for answering! Also is it normal that everytime I try to make a public room it keeeeeeps timing out?

lol yeah, I guess powercreep seems pretty crazy. :P I would suggest just goin thru the campaign on hard with the four OG heroes (Huntress, Monk, Squire, Apprentice), and gearing them up. Once you get thru the campaign, progress on to Chaos 1, 2, 3, and so on. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLsVTZAnioCh9Ryz_cteSVZfODolx1ctY is a good tutorial playlist, though some are out of date, I'd recommend watching those as well, after, or during your progression through campaign.
