@ Trendy, any hints how to deal with Dark Assassins?

So I'm clearing Chaos 4 Trials now. Chaos 5 is a complete different story. Dark Assassins grow behind your back, stab you for 90% of your health, then their poison finish you off. This happens all the time. This results in not being able to dps or even keep up the repairings on walls ==> defeat. Trendy, can you give any hints on how to deal with the Dark Assassins? Because right now it just feels Chaos 5 is made by a masochistic mind.

Im having the same issue, im assuming we need to level alot, max out a few 999 dpwr health and dps stats

They did say Chaos 5 is meant to be near impossible

How to deal with Dark Assassin's: Squire with Worm Scarf, Block Power, Armor 40%, and tons of health (At least 30k). Press provoke right as soon as you see the purple glow around you, and then seismic slam after they are done attacking you. It should stun the assassin long enough for you to switch to DPS and kill it

You can also set up a single cc tower (Geyser/Viper Fangs) to aim at just you when you get marked by one so it can CC it off of you. And then stun it like normal and kill it.

Using the dryad, I just start throwing abilities all over the place while panicking and it -sometimes- works.

What about booking them via GW? Or ev2 decoy?

[[602,users]] When they come out of cloak to hit you, you can't book. And ev2 decoy won't make it target the decoy since it already has you tagged.

Wasn't sure, but figured I'd offer the suggestion. I havent beaten chaos 1 yet so...

Thiugh that will change tonight. Ive got my apprentice wall, flame thrower, monk fire aura, and huntress pdt ready to go. That should cover chaos 1 fairly sure.

Yet Chaos 5 isn't even going to be the end of Chaos. They're planning more levels.

Well here's hoping they heed the outcry on the forums first and deal with a bunch of issues this update presented us with. Future chaos shouldn't be for some time, so hoping that is time-enough to iron out trials a tad
