Since i decided to join the forum, ive read many players asking, in one way or another, why are they not looting cool legendaries 24/7, and im not talking about bugged legendaries stats, im talking about free itemization.

Anybody who has read me on some threads, knows my opinion about free high lvl legendaries and rerolling stats...im definetly not in the mood. And still, DD2T gave us free 750 weapons for all champions with perfect passives and stats %, but these players are still not happy. They blame or rant on everything that DD2T is developing by a/one(*1) main single reason: No free and easy perfect loot.

Listen folks, as many of you, im happy everytime DD2T updates the game, im not a professional on the field, but i know how much work this kind of stuff requires in order to improve the game. The content made by developers is here to give us some hours of joy and reward us with challenging experiences, or just experiences.

If the game become easier and easier, it wont be different from anything else in the market, you just play it from point A to point B instead of making your own goal, your own journey through this world. And difficulty is what i want from DD2T, making enemies stronger, numerous, or (this is my favorite), smarter, dangerous, clever!

In my opinion, we should be open to the changes and not just report the game as broken (bugs are a exception) because we dont like what we get from it. If you dont like the updates, maybe you should take a rest from the game or just chill dude. All i got to say to DD2T about their updates is "gg wp".


Balance, who dis?

Balance is a term that i discovered in the old days of WoW, and it wasnt about the strengh of the classes, it was about PvP, not PvE. Guys, you need to understand something very simple, heroes are not all the same, if you want a perfect balance, all we need is 1 single hero class, then give it all the abilities/traps. This is your perfect balance:

All heroes have a function on the team, some of them are alike at some points, but they all are different from each other. Sometimes your favorite DPS may be the best of the west but sometimes it would be useless. The same way, merging all heroes is stupid, making all heroes warmachines at all situations is even worst, play your role caraid(*2).

The game is changing and will change more and more and more and...

The Siege Tank is too easy, and i expect that DD2T future updates, give us a BADA$$ ST on the new difficulties coming(*3). They added a huge motor vehicle, who can tell they wont add some small and faster ones? kamikaze goblin cars/carts on the way!

(1) Legendaries are common drops in Incursions or Defense maps that drop Unique gear since its always a gold chest which is why people play them. All stats and passives can't be sweet because Legendary tier is simply not a super rare drop. 750 ipwr drops doesn't have enough RNG involved to have good stats most/all the time for a Loot based game.

(2) The Terraria weapons are not perfect stat and rolls if you exlude their Unique Passive. We have to constantly rejoin Social Hub to change the stats and passives if we desperately want the perfect weapon to maximize our effort grinding Soul of Night. The weapons also require us to beat two somewhat challenging and time consuming maps repeatedly for a weapon that is a decent upgrade to anything that isn't obtained through grinding an Incursion instead. Terraria weapons are only worth it for characters who didn't have a Unique Legendary weapon yet.

(4) Actually if the game was super easy, we could use whatever build we wanted which really does allow our own Journey despite lacking the enjoyment of a challenge. Hard games always resort to someone searching for the Meta and then that limits everyone's sense of creating their own journey because why put in more effort for something with the same/similar reward at the end of the journey?

With the % of that i meant that you have chances (high chances in my experience) to get a perfect or almost perfect 750 WAPA. Reconnecting over and over is not the same as losing matches, building, etc. Farming 80 souls of night is very easy if you have the time and dedication to go for it.

Point 4:

Im not talking about easy to play (so anybody could play it without a problem), im talking about defenses with zillions of dps to kill goblins with -1hp, in such case you could just build 1 lighting aura close to the core and go afk, to receive items that you dont need because goblins are alredy dying by default. Using your favorite defenses is not the same as making a build for each situation, the challenge is not only for joy, but also makes you think more, it forces the player to find a way, his way.
