Starfury, just for decoration?

Not sure if its been commented on or if any one has actually noticed but in the barrel next to the Wayfarer a Starfury is just happily sitting there on display, will it be available to use or is it just there for the hell of it?

I think it is meant for the Dryad but I could be wrong.

I noticed it as well, but honestly assumed they made it before Terra Blade, then switched it out for Terra but forgot to change it at the shop.

I'm still digging around for subtle references and possible hints at upcoming content. Demon's Altar has me intrigued.

Pretty sure they said in the dev stream that there were a few Terraria weapons coded into the game right now that aren't obtainable, Starfury being one of those. I think they said in the dev stream that it "was way too OP with the Dryad".

I hope we can get a Pwnhammer from Eye of Cthulu (or Wall of Flesh boss in the future? :D ) to smash open a Demon Altar. Embrace the Hallowed Tavern!

They said something along the lines of them wanting to do it, but it ended up as a ability on the Dryad instead. 

Keen observation, I'm glad someone noticed! Look for an equippable Starfury at a later date.

Anyone got any hints ?
