Guranteed drops, or not?

In the changelog I've read that you can get the Armageddon Staff on Liferoot challenge.. Tried out.. didn't get the staff.

Also did Throne Room on NM4 (defense) for the Storm item.. didn't get the item.

according to changelog:  "..these are guaranteed drops every time you win the map."

They also previously listed the frosty staff as dropping on liferoot challenge so I dont know wtf is going on. 

I just did it and the only staff I got was a blaster caster with snowstorm or w/e the passive is called that increases frost towers slow %. There was no frosty power on it or any other special passives, just standard stuff.

Yea I have ran the liferoot challenge mission five times now. Each time I got a purple chest and and no frosty staff. I have also ran other missions trying to grab some Storm set items and I have not gotten any either. I think I did about ten or so missions all NM4 all on maps that are supposed to drop specific items and I have not received any. So it's my guess that it isn't guaranteed and if it was supposed to be then its bugged.

Same issue. Also tried every difficulty setting, just in case. None on the drops I got were the "guaranteed" ones

I had the 3 sewers daily so I ran dragonfall sewers 3 times and got the storm boots each time.

Liferoot is still the only map ive had no luck with.

The storm gloves are actually dropping from "Assault on Throne Room" but it's shared with the arcane barrier staff, the normal throne room doesn't seem to have any specific drop at all
