NEW HEROES!!!

what is your favorite moba hero you want them to bring back (no rider, for obvious reasons). 

spirit warrior, driad, orc chief, kobold king, lavamancer, crystal warrior, man and machine, prisoner, spider princess, or gun witch! 

me personally, i want spirit warrior to win

The only real answer is the Man and Machine. All other answers have inferior potassium are invalid.

Based on the revealed voting for heroes coming after Lord and EV2, I personally am torn between Lavamancer and Barbarian.

 Gunwitch? - No thanks. Don't need another huntress/ranger/adept-like character - yet. You'll get your turn, but for now I want the biggest possible difference from gameplay as it currently is. Maybe it's just a lack of appeal and this character will actually be quite different - who is to say at this point.

Barbarian -  If  this mighty hunk of man gets done in a DD1 style, he will have no defenses, and instead 8 active abilities with some stat modifying stances in there. Huntress will meet her match, and likely be outclassed by such a character who shines as an active hero exclusively except where ranged is necessary (throwing axe offhand, anyone?). Might even put tank squires out of a job too depending on what you can do with him. Either way this is a hero you would surely have active on deck during combat or joining public games 

Lavamancer - This fellow is an enigma. My knee jerk reaction was "Oh great another mage character who only gets magical fire damag- Oh! Wait! Resistances won't be a thing! But what will he build? Volcano walls? Lava geysers? Flaming catapults/arrows? Lava muck monster golem men? What's his gimmick, his schitick? Can he burn other defenses to make them have a magic damage modifier? WILL ENEMY FIRE HEAL HIM? Will It be another active styled hero, Human-Torching around the map, broiling all and sparing none?" The mystery alone is what compels me on this.

I've not seen much of DD2 in its MOBA state, other then watching TB play gunwitch a few years ago in DD2OBA. Just the prospect of another dozen+ heroes sitting on backup with half of the assets on them ready to go, or at least be repurposed for DD2 is exciting though.

I am also deciding between Barb and Lavamancer.

My concern with the barbarian is that melee dps is just so poorly implemented so far in DD2... and if that's all the barb does then... -_-

Lavamancer looks interesting though. I may vote for him so long as his towers aren't just apprentice reskins.

Also between Barb and Lavamancer for me too. Barb was great melee dps in the first game, and I'm hoping he will bring back a good melee dps for this game too. 

Gun witch looks cool, but no. We don't need another ranged dps, we already have two capable of that. (Possibly three with Abyss lord).

Lavamancer seems like another mage, but he looks pretty darn cool, I wouldn't mind seeing him in game. He could be ranged dps also, but I'm more interested in seeing him than Gun witch.

Overall I think I'm more for barbarian, but I wouldn't mind either Barbarian or Lavamancer.

Barbarian, just for the potential of a heavily armored costume. Also would probably force them to look at melee DPS again as it's currently pretty damn horrible.

Always knew the MOBA heroes would join in at some point.  :)

BTW I know there was a lot of hate for the MOBA back in the days but now I kinda think maybe introducing it to the game could bring something new to the game when ppl are tierd of farming and just wanna do some PvP.

I mentioned it the first time I saw that video way back when, but I would love to see a hero like that boss. Super heavily armored, slow, giant and intimidating. Maybe a skin for barbarian like that? ;D

Personally I want the Gunwitch. We need more female heroes in this game instead of all male. With Gunwitch being the 3rd hero(Abyss, EV, Gunwitch) that will give DD2 3 females VS 4 males.

i'd like to see a salalamder that slows and does fire damage. 

my reasoning; salamders are associated with mud (mudkip) and fire in most lores. 

but it could also harden and flatten out, becoming a tail slap trap. <-- say that 5 times fast!!!
