i have been playing DD2 since it was released , but there is one thing that i still dont get.

the social score (the warning for leaving a match) , what is its purpose & and how does it affect me?

i often find myself joining a quickmatch or something of the like , that is well...empty should i be forced to take a penalty of some sort because i dont want to play solo? or swap my dps in and end up alone missing some of my vital builders?

point is , what exactly does it do , and should i be bothered by disregarding it?

and is such a system actually necessary?

A social score system might be interesting.

From what I understand, it isn't implemented yet and the current system (giving an up or down arrow to someone) isn't completed yet and doesn't affect us atm.

As stated above, I don't think it's implemented yet, not a vital feature.

Necessary? Probably not. Helpful? Very.

Wouldn't you like to know you're about to invite someone who has 200 down votes? A history of not dropping gems or not repairing, just bad teamwork in general.

Other people have stuggled with them, so now you don't have to.

I think, if done well the system will be very beneficial.

I believe this question came up a few dev streams ago and they stated they were focusing on other more important features atm and that they might not implement it at all but it is still on the table, just got bumped for better QoL/Balancing and better future content.

I'm not a fan of the down vote option. I don't know about the DD2 community in general, but I know a lot of really sketchy people are in other game communities who would down vote everyone they met, just how it is with some people.

I would rather not have them influence my DD2 reputation like that.
