Some reason there's a tiny bit of solid ground up there that you can place something on otherwise it's all blocked area

If you place a tower on the structure in the lower-right part of the picture, you can use it to get up there. Gives you a great view during the wave. You can also use it to hop on top of the trees and get outside of the map, which is pretty sweet.
