Pack with max bag slots increase. is it worth it?

So, the new pack is out.

23 eur for:

• 4 Premium Bags 
  
• Increased max bag slot from 12 to 16 bags 
  
• 2 Extra Hero Slots 
  
• Exclusive "Baggins" Title 
  
• 400 gems as a special bonus Thank You!

So, my question is- how much do youguys think the max bag slots will be worth?

I'm thinking of getting the collectors one but this one is amazing personally aswell, so I'm just hoping the inv slots will be purchasable with gems. I was hoping the pack'd give a little more gems personally, any thoughts?

U better off getting 10k gems from collectors edition.  But if you want the extra 4 bag slots go for it.   All though u don't really need more then 12 bag slots. Really a personal preference.

I just kinda sad that we can not use are all ready gems we spent money in game to increase the max bag slots.

Just looked to see how much it cost on steam and I don't see it for sale.

Link is avaiable from the game and patch notes, it was the first thing I was looking for, couldn't see it in the steam store at first aswell :)

Hmm 25 bucks? I mean it's a lot of stuff I guess but if you add up the basic DLCs so far it's $75 bucks in DLC $100 if you got the Halloween $150 if you get the collectors pack. I am not a marketing guy but 25 bucks every special event is kind of steep. Look at most steam games are 25 bucks and triple A games are 50-60. So I can't bring myself to pay the cost of a game for features that I can buy with gems (those bag excluded) I can't help but wonder if you could make more money total with a lower price tag.

I've noticed more bags aren't needed. I've only played for 84 hours, but I have never needed more yet.

At $10 it would be a good value. At $15 it would be a fair price. At $20 I'd have to think about it hard. At $25 I feel like I'm getting ripped off and it's not worth that feeling. 

If Trendy is going to release packs like these at a regular rate it should look at how PayDay 2 prices their stuff. 

I think it's pretty crappy the only way for me to get an extra 4 bag slots is to spend yet more money on the bundle... which has stuff I don't need.  I've already bought plenty of bundles and have a surplus of gems, but you're really not going to let me spend those on 4 extra bag slots?  You want me to spend $25 to get four bag slots?  

This is getting out of hand.  Is anyone else kind of pissed off by this?  I mean don't get me wrong.  I think people should support Trendy, but for this game so early on to be money grabbing.  I mean there is hardly any content, really not much depth to the core mechanics of the game.  It's kind of a lot of be asking such a major investment from people when we don't really know how the game is going to turn out in the long run.

Just let me spend my gems on four extra bag slots, because I'm just sitting on them.  I don't think $16 skins are good value.

Totally agree! Should be able to use gems banked to purchase new releases. Gems are the same as $$ in game anyways right TRENDY!?

They need to make money some how, i feel 10 is a perfect amount of bag space, the thing is with these things about bag space, it does, take up more server space if you fill up your bags. 25 bucks, while is pricey this is aimed at the people that likely need the space to increase to 16 bag slots. with this pack that's the only way to get it.  It's not like you need these bags. Right now 10 for me lets me do 3-6 runs. Depending.. And at that point After you fill your bags up, going through those for me it takes a while. This is the definition of some will like some will not like it. Only buy this pack if you already have 12 bag space, and feel the need for more room that's the only time i feel this pack is worth getting. The game will regularly go on sale during the hollidays, so when it does. it will be around 12.5 bucks for the thing.. So... there is that. maybe not. But it's a thing you can buy to help the developers. and make life (maybe) better for you. Considering this, and you feel like you need more than 12 bag space, which is 450 a bag,, if you started at launch of early access, to get there is around 2250 worth of gems. If you just now started. that would be closer to  3600 gems, If after that you still feel the need for more, well this pack might be for you.

I think you're missing the point.  This pack invalidates our current gems that we already paid real money for. It's pretty much locking the people who already invested a lot into buying yet another bundle at $25 with stuff that we don't need.  It's kind of a crappy move I think.

Trendy got a 18.2 million dollar investment in 2012.  I don't think they totally need our money right from the gate to support development of the game.  

Know how League of Legends makes so much money?  You make a good game first and when the game is good people will throw money at you.  It's too early to be throwing massive amounts of money around.  

 

totally agree and still stand that they could make more money from the influx of free players if the price tag was way way lower like 5-10 dollar range. I might have a crazy way of looking at things but these people didn't buy into early access for what ever reason and play free games probably because they don't have a ton of money.

You can't get to 16 bags without purchasing the pack? Really? That's a bit disappointing.. I spent 70 euros on the game as I felt I would be enjoying it for quite some time and it was only right to support the devs.  I don't even spend that much on AAA games ;).  And now I can't even spend the gems ?

Such a strange commercial choice..  Makes me wonder if I'll ever spend those 10K gems lol :)

Nope not worth it. Consider they gonna reduce quantity for loot so it won't drop like this = less bag needed. 
PS. I got 11 bag and I rarely sell items in my bags with new patch probably 3-4 games / 1 time.

Its not a good deal your better suited with the Defender pack for 25 bucks that gave you 3000 gems and 2 hero slots. If trendy is going to give little to no gems in these kinda packs they NEED to be a good deal.

I like how they said this inventory bundle is mostly target at new people.

Well its about the same 4 bags cost 1800 400 gems, 2 slots another 900   3100 gems total, 4 extra bag slots being the big one .. but really if u dont care aboet the bags collectors edition

I have no idea what I currently own.  I bought whatever let me play when the Pre-Alpha started and that was it.  I think it was 70.00?  What was that? (edit, oh, that must have been the "Early Access")

OH I SEE, lol.

I currently have 7 bags and 1 pet bag (is that 8 bags or 7 plus a specialty bag?).  The 7 bags must have come with the Early Access purchase.

I could buy up to a max of 12.  So I can buy 5 more Premium bags at 450 Gems each.

That's 2,250 Gems to max out the bags I can have.  That will still leave me with a balance of 2,975 Gems.

I also need to unlock hero slots...at least 2/3 more.  Those are also 450 each.  That's another 1,350 Gems.

If I did all that I'll have 1,625 Gems.  What can else can I buy with Gems, just skins and costumes?

And with the hero deck in place I don't have any reason to buy hero slots.

I'm only two characters away from having 4x of each hero in the game, but I'm not holding my breath that it will be worth considering the Hero Deck limiting factor... So fun.

I bought the Collector's Pack (also have the Defender's Pack) mainly for the gems, so I could use the gems to buy things like Inventory slots / bags, etc.

There are games that cost thousands of euro's. Most games cost around 10 and 20, in real life shops and online shops. Some even cost 2,50. And the cheapest are freeeee!!!!!

20 euro for an in-game item(s)? Thats really really expensive. For a free game its insane. But hey, if your rich, your a fool not to spend your well earned money on making the game more relaxed. And not so tight.

And you can take them with you after the alpha, beta into the game thats going to get released in the end? I guess so, but i don't see any guaranty's.

I think it is a good deal IF you want/need the bulk of the pack. Personally I don't so it's not something I'm really interested in but I do recognize that if if my situation was slightly different I very well might have jumped on it.
