I just gave my friend a Free Key and it was a CE edition of the game he got 10,000 Gems plus the 3,000 you get from buying it. Same with all the Dragon Skins after buying the game and CE when he just got everything for free not Cool imo.

In before the its a Free Game to play im more upset about the Gems he just got not putting anything into it.

Hi! I'd be more than happy to look into this for you. Check your PMs!

If his account is linked via Steam family share between his friends and his then that's the problem. [[5896,users]] mentioned it'd be get looked at and fixed, but guess it hasn't.

It is linked never thought about that. When I made the post he was telling me how much he didn't enjoy the game and didn't like any of the costumes so being a bit salty was my reaction.

I got the $70 pack and I feel happy for the people getting their pack for free. I don't understand why people are upset. Why so envy?

It's one thing to some people win a contest or something for a CE. Another thing is to Trendy deliberately hand out 10.000 keys with CE. I mean, I don't even think there's anywhere close to 100 people who bought CE given the number of truly active players in this community, so even of 10% of those keys got random CE that's just not unfair to the people who actually paid to support them, they're also loosing tons of money lol

Yeah, every CE contains $100 worth of premium currency, so 10 000 keys for it would be worth $1 000 000.

I will say I PERSONALLY didn't buy the game for access to costumes, extra bags, gems or even to support Trendy.  I bought it to play the game and that was the only way. While I bought the collectors edition to support Trendy and for some skins and gems I still bought the original 4pack of game copies was so that I could play with friends.

I'm all for the free keys (getting more players will be great) and specifically it will be easier to get some of the people I played DD1 with into DD2. That said when you make a game with collectibles and you give me a hat for the wipe and a hat for iPWR +240 I find the set I get for buying in early seems less substantial especially up against the awesome new 1200 gem skins.

You can't say you didn't subscribe some value of the purchase price towards access to the alpha. On steam you are buying "Early Access"  to a game in the alpha state. This is no where clearer than the new steam options since game has changed from prealpha to alpha. You can buy a starters pack or a defenders pack.

TLDR: If someone wants to be a little salty, where else do they come to complain? I feel a little for them and even if I don't agree you can maybe see where they are coming from?. So how about a little more "Yeah, I can see you'd be annoyed if you don't value the skins. At least you got to put some hours into the game and get some enjoyment out of it before all the keys. And now you'll have 10k new friends to play with"
