Quickest Easy Ogre Kills?

So if I want to farm ogre kills, solo and quickly, where would everyone suggest?

Onslaught easy mode

Low level loot,  but you're not there for loot if you're just farming ogres. 

I just select pet as reward.

You mean Onslaught Normal, right?   (I expect you do, but the chance of there being a bug that prevents me from accessing Onslaught Easy is, sadly, decidedly non-zero.)

I do regular Incursion Crossroads.  You get 3 Ogres for doing 5 waves.

i heard the crossroads incursion ogres didnt count? are you sure it it does? because if it does i know what im grindlording

They fixed that with the hotfix on Friday.

Not very efficient. After some waves, you start getting 2 ogres every 3 rounds, and you can mostly afk since its low lv and very easy to do. You can also levelup another hero or whatever and get some gold from pet eggs as well.

I ran a couple of incursions today (Sunday) and the ogres do count now.

Oops, yeah I did.

I meant regular onslaught, not nightmare onslaught.

4 days into the monthly mission, it's soooo hard :D
