New Cheese to get NM4 gear. :)

Step 1) Make an apprentice with frostfire and frosty power.

Step 2) Build frostbite towers together, aimed away from any mob, so that it never activates

Step 3) Build ranged towers close to the frostbite tower, so that the ranged tower permanently gains the full buffs

Step 4) Don't report the bug because "QA should find it themselves TROLLOLOLO"

Here's a little taste.

Thanks for the info, but ours is something else. :)

Probably on ramparts since the boss spawns wave 1 and gives loot. Doing the same type of cheese as ever to stall other lanes while the boss lane goes down.

I really appreciate the free info everyone is giving.

I wasn't the only one. I had 1 other person there with me, and about 20 others in chat. :)

Thanks for the heads up. That's just one more reason not to play the game, since there's probably another reroll coming. Won't even bother playing anymore but good finding and good luck!

No problem. That's really the main point of this post.

We get rerolled, then rerolled, then rickrolled, and then rickrolled.

i know what you do to farm nm4.. i was farming nm3 but its not even fun to do, 1 hr to beat the map it went from like 18 min a run, to 1 hr no thank you. and the loot is just so useless. 

super annoying , tedious, stressing,  looooooooooooooooooong !!! 

and  they are gonna come with the great idea of a reroll, cuz we cant have nm4 gear, like nm4 gear even makes a diference in nm4 maps.

I'm not going to come in here to banter ethics or morality on new methods of getting gear. But I will say this:

The fact that we are resorting to finding backhanded methods to obtain gear as a community is a really awful destiny of this game, Alpha or not.

When maps take upwards of 30 minutes to an hour for a few sparing pieces of gear that usually is pretty bad, there's NO ROOM AT ALL to expect players to climb up to 700 by 5 or 10 iPWR at a time for the effort we're investing. 

You'd have to have gear falling in droves like Onslaught mode or previous DD games to warrant the current system of intended progress.

I haven't bothered to really play though. Because they'll end up re-rolling in light of the brand new buggy *** that people have found lol. Kind of sad that you have to resort to exploiting the *** out of the game, in order to kill things with their jacked up health pools lol.

And jacked up damage. The damage is crazy. In the notes they said ogres no longer can 1 shot the subcores/cores and they still do.

They do have internal QA and the Remote QA (one that is comprised of players like us).

He did the smart thing, NM is tedious,boring,long, thoughts of suicide, etc, and he found out a shortcut a strategy isn't what this game is all about ? He found a weakness and he used it against the mobs and it paid off. Good work.

This isn't closed.  They're selling it to whoever.  If it was closed, or free, the tone around here would be very different.
