Host a public game

So you can either host a private game or join a public game, but there's no option to host a public game like in DD1 or DDE.  Can we get this option?  I'd like to play with others, but so often I join a game and all anyone is doing is building towers in the tavern and not really playing.

Are you referring to a case where you want to host a game but you're running solo, allowing others to queue into your session?

Ye, i think he means where you automaticly becomes leader for a public game. This i also would like, this way you can decide what map to play and still have other join.

"Public Game" will host a new public tavern if the matchmaking system is unable to locate a game for you to join.

The matchmaking system is also very incomplete right now.

I completely agree with this thread, it would be way better to be able to make our own public games. Or at least pick the map for public games we join.  A lot of times I want to do Betsy runs but end up in other random maps.

I went over this as well a while back there is no way to really make a game to the public and let others join you, the best method ive come across is invite a friend to your party though the steam HUD and then make a game more times then not it will start a new room since most public games only have room for 1 new person. Untill then we will have to wait until they make the proper system.
