Tower Wars

Like in Dungeon Defenders 1 i really LOVED the tower wars thing, it was so amazing.
And i am really hoping that it will get into DD2 also, it could be really cool, since you cant cheat now, so now it's fair play :)

Well, thanks for the support :) I'd certainly love to be involved in a remake of it (Among things I'd try to do to improve it are make most of the functions in the map done through some kind of UI rather than triggers in the world). I haven't been asked either, but I'd certainly welcome the concept even if I wasn't behind it :)

Just about everything you needed to learn in dd could be learned in tower wars. loved playing it, sadly not many others did though. however it seems like the things i enjoyed in dd1 are the things people seem to complain about. i am totally on board for another attempt at tower wars for dd2 though. would be great to see something i like be brought into dd2.

If, and only IF, you could bring it to the Dev team, that would be great, since i think that many people would love it, and also it's a great way to improve things, and try things out, also it's fun since it's PvP and not PvAI/PvE, also it would bring some varied gameplay to the game, and then IF it gets under developement, and they are making it, it could be fun to make some sort of a Ladder/Rankings, to see how players perform, with Win/lose ratio, avg time per game, and some other average stats :)

I know what you mean, i have it the same way, many things that i liked from DD1, many players dont think that it would be something great to put into the game (and yes, i've been asking when playing with others), and i think that's kinda sad, because many of the players right now, haven't played DD1, and also they're just playing the game, not giving feedback, or things that Trendy could implement, but yeah, many of those things that were in DD1 could be fun to have in DD2, and by that said, i am not saying that EVERYTHING from DD1 should be put into DD2, but some of the most popular things, like PvP, Tower Wars, Challenges, and a new thing, like Daily missions, Daily challenges etc.

With that said i hope, that the Dev team will look further into Tower Wars :)

And to be honest, i think, that Trendy is doing a great job, to make the game better.
And they're not making so many dev posts, but i know they're working their arses off to fufill ann the player wishes, and the most popular ones :)

We really enjoyed playing Tower Wars ourselves internally a while back! We aren’t ready to talk about future game modes in DD2 just yet but I will say we look back on DD1 and what was popular and entertaining there when we are discussing game modes (including mods). Keep an eye out for future game mode reveals and be sure to let us know what you think!
