Hello folks~


i was already on DD1 a huge monk fan, so im playing a monk here aswell.


But i discovered a few bugs regarding the Monk that i would like to point out here. I need to add, that i cant make any ingame screenshots for some reasons, since the screenshot is always black (might be a bug aswell?)


Auras:


I noticed that Auras wont stack, is that supposed to be? if you put 2 Lightning Auras close to each other, then they end up cross-over after upgrading both auras to max lvl. Yet, even if monsters walk right into this cross-over ( which isnt really small), then they still only get the damage of 1 Lightning aura. Same goes for the Damage boost Aura. if you put 2 of them close to each other, upgrade them to max lvl, and both have 1 aura/tower in the cross-over area, only 1 aura is in effect. 


Secondary Attack (RMB)


i noticed that sometimes 1 secondary attack is missing. 

for example: if you hold the RMB then he attacks like 4 times straight, then suddenly 1 attack is missing. After it he starts again and attacks like 5 or 6 times until another attack is missing. Yet the attack-animation of the monk still occurs, he just wont fire an energyball.


Spec "Concussiv Chi"


This spec says "x% chance for secondary attacks to stun an enemy for 1 second". Either the discription is wrong or the effect bugged. upgrading that Spec causes melee attacks to stun aswell (which are faster then secondary attack and hit alot more enemies)


Pole Smash


This Skill deals a bit of damage and throws the enemies up into the Sky. In fact, this skill works as it should, yet there seems to be something bugged about the effect that they are launched into the sky.


Whenever i use this skill, while the enemies runs straight into my lightning auras (upgraded) then the enemies wont recieve any damage from the auras unless they hit the ground again.

In order to balance auras they were made to not stack as you can see the auras now have a physical existence that originates the aura field range.

The damage also doesn't stack, this seems to also be intentional to avoid OP, back in DD1 auras would also not stack of the same type i believe? never really remember to test that out.

If it is actually stunning you should report this bug to the tavern keeper, if possible with video.

Auras not stacking... would still be the same logic as, if, lets say 2 harpoons point at 1 enemie, but only 1 harpoon hits... :/


I could agree that maybe the boost aura stacking might be a bit too much, but an attacking aura not stacking just makes no sense to me (as above stated with an example)

Not really it would be more like placing one harpoon above the other and making it a double poon xD, auras work differently, if they were to deal double damage they'd be way too powerful

I strongly disagree. Even if the Auras are fully upgraded with a fully upgraded damage boost and maxing out the lightning aura spec... then even 2 auras (which stack only at a certain point and cant stop any enemy without using drench) deals still by far less damage then a single canon ball or even a harpoon of the squire does. Already saw a cannonbal do far beyond 10k DPS. not even 2 auras would even scratch the 10k mark

There has to be downsides of un-target-able defenses mate, by far elec aura is the top most reliable tower in game so far. The others can match their dps, but also cant get hit and killed

Auras don't make the mosnters stop to attack, which makes the dark mages never stack with happens a lot with the other defenses if you get a 5 dark mage lane

With Pretty much maxed stats my auras have 4100 dps on the tooltip (+50%chance to deal 150% dmg they get up to 8500 dps on the dumys which should be more since the attack rate is 0,49 per sec and 5100 with the dmg increase)now lightning aura cost 30 mana cannonball(mine get to 13k dps) costs 40 and is only single target.
