Hero Specs

As it stands some specs seem very bad some very good and some meh. The Apprentice and Huntress have  ok specs wouldn't change much. As for the others lets start with monk.

MONK

Concussive Chi is ok as it is

Dragon Stance: maybe a little boost with the idea i have for a Crane stance (Range: 1 power full attack like a charge arrow only more dmg)

Crane Stance: i would make it so you get stacks for each range attack that meele attacks deal a scaling % more damage up to 6 stacks as he has a 3 combo meele attack so that up to 6 meele attacks deal % more dmg (Meele: each attack uses 1 charge for the increased dmg) so meele gets aoe and range 1 high dmg attack

Lightning damage: seems a  little strong atm but maybe with higher difficulys it will be needed as is

Boost Blockade: i would make it so you get % dmg prot from the aura and affect all towers (not auras traps) or let me get tower health for increase tower protc as it seems no stat increases tower prot atm 15% at star on the boost aura

Empowering Calm: maybe a little increase in the scaling

SQUIRE

Riposte : is ok 

Fighnt Me Not! : also ok

Vengance: havent tryed much with spike blockades so cant say much to it if it works as i understand its ok (enemy attacks next enemy takes more dmg from attack) if its meele enemys only maybe a little tweak but dunno

Powerful Spears: i would ether change it so the spec some times increases the arrow interaction range (wider hit box) or make hit enemys bleed for like 25% of the dmg dealt with a higher chance than 10% per hit about 30 % chance at 42 points investet

Shiny Spikes: as vengance dunno if it works for ranged attacks if yes nice if not this spec  should cause this would actualy make sense

Shield Strength: is ok

I think they should take away spec and give us Sphere grid from FFX or straight ripped out of PoE would be sweet, using the affix's they have put on items + random stat boosts on the way to those affix's, with creation of other or class specific ones that do slight modification to towers (Such as Increased AoE for flame burst which will also turn the fireballs black?) or something along those lines. the whole Spec things kinda basic and in the end wont leave enough diversity to make it interesting, then this way you can think of more epic affix's for legendary gear and so on where the RPG feel won't over power the 4 tower TD but be on a high enough level that it enhances the TD experience through a stronger RPG experience..

While I did not enjoy playing FFX that much I really liked the sphere grid. This would be a total new kind of customization here.

Honestly I really only find 1 maybe 2 specs good per character, I think unless its heavily modified it really won't be that good to have in-game. A cool grid view like PoE would be sweet but I don't know if there's enough choices with only 4 turrets and 3 abilities to warrant such a thing,.

Thats the cool thing about a sphere grid, the idea's they could use as an affix on gear could be used in the sphere grid (such as the cannnon balls tower 2% to stun or something) but not be limited to the one class, giving all towers up to like a 10% chance to stun, or even for hunters a chance for your traps not to use durablity or a % chance to heal like spike blockade. maybe they could make a support branch which gives a tower the ability to have a weaker version of boost or a auto repairing affix coming off a tower which through sphere grid u could increase the radius from like trap size to lvl 1 lightning tower size. there is actually heaps of ways of making the game more interesting once more affix's have been created which could leave things like legendary items to give bonus's you cant get through hero development or specs. (like sheilds that give level 1 serenity aura on character etc)

It's already on the list that they need to add/change the spec nodes, so don't worry they will be changed and perhabs some of your suggestions may be implemented as well ;)

Honestly I'd rather see the specs turned into a talent tree sort of thing like in WoW.  I'm working on a google doc with some ideas.  My thread is here if anyone wants to help contribute.
