Dungeon Defender 2 for Mac

i was under the impression since the first game was available for mac, that the second one would be. was excited to buy the early access but noticed it was only for PC. can anyone give me some insight as to if the game is coming out on mac in the near future or not. thanks.

I cannot give any information about the near future, but I do believe Trendy has plans for Mac and Linux, just as they probably have plans for other platforms/consoles.

They said that the game will be released for Mac and Linux once its development has finished. At the moment they are only working on the Windows version because this makes the development process a lot faster.

Does that mean there will be no Mac version for the next year (or however long) it's in EA?  If so, that's really disappointing.

It will be at some point, the date is unclear, but for now it's not available. 

Yes.  I know that it is not available currently.  I discovered it when I went to purchase EA on Steam and saw that it was not available for Mac.  Thanks.

My point is that it might come before official launch, however not for now. Also there are ways for you to bypass this issue and play the game with something like a windows virtual machine or installing windows on a partition , i'm not an expert but i've heard people doing it i'm not aware of how it works
