Patch 15.1 for Steam [Live Now on PS4!]

The patch is now live on both Steam and PS4! Here are the patch notes:

Series EV2 Hero Sale!

  • For the next two weeks, Series EV2 and the EV2 bundle are on sale!

    • Series EV2 Hero:  900 Gems

    • Series EV2 Hero + Costume Bundle:  1,400 Gems


Lavamancer

  • Defense Medal cost reduced to 10,000!


Improvements

  • Map-specific item drops (like the Toxic Shock bow) can drop up to iPWR 700 in NM4, regardless of the iPWR of the map.

  • Loot drops for the Gun Witch, Abyss Lord, Series EV2 and Lavamancer now have Loot V2 stat pairing hooked up.  This was fixed for the Molten Tome. We're working on getting this fixed for the new heroes! 

  • Players kicked from a public game can no longer rejoin the game.

  • Added a DPS Numbers Only option for Target Dummies in the Options Menu.

  • Reduced the number of enemies in an Onslaught Horde wave.

  • Controller:  Interacting with NPCs and picking up items is now bound to R3. Ping is now functioning properly on L1 > R1.

  • Earthshatter Fault Line passive changed to have a chance to knock enemies up.


Balance

  • Fissure of Embermount starts dealing damage to enemies at Tier 2 now.


Bug Fixes

  • Several memory leaks that caused players to fall through the game world have been plugged. If you are still experiencing this issue, please contact our customer support and attach your client log from the session where it occurred. Directions for this can be found here.

  • Material and texture loading optimized to decrease loading times.

  • Maw of the Earth Drake no longer gives nearby towers attack speed boosts when under the effect of Eruption.

  • Incursions should now drop the correct rewards.

  • Fixed a bug where the Earthshatter was still causing AoE damage.

Some of the weapon drop locations have changed, but we're planning to revert those locations back to what they were before today's patch. We're hoping to revert this change later today. If this plan changes, I'll provide the full list of changed weapon drop locations. I'll keep you updated.

FYI:  The Toxic Shock bow currently drops in the Chrome Enemies Incursion (Forgotton Ruins).

Can you give us the option to keep the current controller layout because I really hate the idea of having to press R3 to pickup an item and interact with the cleansing flames when i do the unholy catacombs.

YAY for loot 2.0 for LM, AL, EV and iPWR 700 gear

On the Maw, the speed bonus to other towers was the main thing that made it worth 80 DU, no cost decrease with the nerf/bug fix? (at 80 DU you can't afford many more towers to support it)

Fissure of ember, can now be upgrade to tier 2 is cool, but doesn't have DPS stat or attack speed

Your missing a lot of notes here... wheres all the stuff on changes you have made to towers? Like how Skeletal Archers either is showing correct radius now (nearly 360) or has increased radius for firing on enemies? Where was the notes on the changes to Earthshatter on how it deals full damage to primary target and either 50% less to secondary targets or less damage in a decreasing aoe radius? (can't quite tell which it is). Can we get notes on ALL the changes please?

Thanks for the notes, a few questions if you don't mind:

So from reading the above, I think you're saying that despite the fact that Dragonfall Bazaar is not an incursion or goes up to 700 ipwr, we can still get a 700 ipwr Toxic Shock Bow dropped from there in the chest at the end?

If so, awesome! :)

Not quite sure what you mean by this?

Are you saying that I now won't get useless drops like, 700 ipwr weapon with hero health and proton beam freeze? :


Incursions should now drop the correct rewards.

Can you expand on this and give an example of what was fixed?

I've been running them for a while now and I haven't noticed "incorrect" rewards in terms of loot..?

I believe that combination works for the Abyss Lord because Direct Command scales off both Defense Power and Ability Power. This combination is the exception to the rule.

Yea i second that. R3 would just be stupid in my opinion. Also this patch seems small considering what you guys know that needed fixed or changed . I have not wanted to play for some time now because this game has become a cliche of glitching . I plan on playing once the new map is introduce and 2 new characters although i understand that may come with problems as well.

Placement button for the ev2 isn't working atm. Instead of placing your defense beams, it instead cancels them

Mostly happy with changes, BUT:

1) Give Maws that speed boost back, but nerf it to a realistic value. It was a good feature, as it encouraged using Lavamancer more, and actually forced me to reconsider how I set some maps up. There was a nice give and take there, which was fun.


2) Will Chrome Enemies be what PS4 is stuck farming until next patch? lol. That's the only Incursion I can honestly say I think needs to get dropped and redone

There's a sticky thread about controller layout in the ps4 forum section, you can share your thoughts to R3 and any other ideas you have there

soo there will be the armor cleanser, armaggedon and the Squire sword ? in some maps ? i wanted to find the Armaggedon Staff i still dont know where it drops.

[[74839,users]] haha. That's not it. It's just not the most interesting incursion. No boss, enemies are just grounded more or less, etc. I don't like doing it. It's neat in concept but could use some tweaks to be more in line with the others.

I personally got several of them in the liferoot forest's onslaugjt mode slecting weapons as rewards

So you guys are telling us that in addition of the gloves of storms wich were hard to farm because it was sharing its drop location with another item, now most of drops will be even harder to get as they now all share location? Or is all the drops drop when we finish the map? Because personally if there is more map I'll have to farm 20-30 times before getting the right drop, and farm it 400 more times for hope to get it with the right stat, I'm out. Maps should only have one drop focused in them. Items already doesnt always drop with the stats we're looking for, if we dont get the said item every times we actually farm for it, then its kind of suck. I'm all about doing changes and adding stuff and all, and I usually find you guys are doing great work, but that item drops system is bad. Really bad. When I farm for gloves of storms  I dont want an harbinger staff. (now harbinger bow). Make all the items drops (per exemple on assault on throne room make the bow AND the gloves drop at the end) at the end of map or make all maps having unique drops.

i agree with the maw thing. The buff was suppose to be intended, but not the amount. Put the buff back but nerf it down to a smaller buff.

i agree, chests should only drop 1 type of item, either a special item, or in the boss maps case, their boss related items, like you did with betsy, that was correct, now do it for harbinger, and make other maps only drop 1 unique legendary, OR, if you incest on grouping up unique legendaries into the same map, make the chest drop both or all of them at once each time <.<
